For Elizabeth this Friday passed like every single, except she wasn't paying attention at school today. She didn't understand why, but she couldn't stop thinking about the charming man she met yesterday. In front of her eyes, she only saw his face, everywhere she looked.
After the last lecture, she wasn't waiting to be challenged and as soon as the bell announced the end she had taken her belongings and made her way out of school.
The journey home seemed longer than other days, and she didn't even stop for coffee or lunch. When she finally arrived at her apartment she left the bag in the hallway and walked into her room. She took off the clothes she wore at school and put on one of her favorite shirts. So big that she could fit in it about 3 more times. She had an advantage in that, her tiny body was made for these shirt. She didn't understand why she felt like she was after a fresh breakup. Layed down in her bed and turned on the TV. She planned to stay like this for the rest of her life.
"Look, I don't know who you are and I actually don't care at all, so let me go." Said Elijah to man who still hasn't presented himself to him. "I'm not keeping you here, you can walk away, but don't forget that all these people saw what you just did." The man was cunning but he was right, Elijah couldn't walk away like nothing happened.
"Elijah Mikaelson, you don't even know what an honor this is for me." Elijah didn't know how to react, the man called him with his full name, but in fact, Elijah didn't care. He didn't show any interest in it at all, he didn't want to know anything more about his past, not after what he saw in his dream yesterday.
"Looks like you know me, do I know you?" Elijah sat on one of the chairs. "Oh no, you had no idea I existed. I'm not vampire like you. I wish." A man in a black suit took a few steps and sat opposite this vampire.
"But I heard you don't have your memories, I can give them all back to you. Well, not me, but I have someone who could." The man in the black suit was confident that he would not reject his offer. Guess he was wrong.
"No. My worst enemy is my memory. I don't want them back." Elijah stood up and was ready to go. He didn't really care what those people saw, he just wanted to leave. Wished he'd never left Elizabeth's apartment. "Wait, just compells them to forget what happened here." Elijah looked at him bummies, didn't know what to do. "Look them in the eye and tell them to forget." He advised him, Elijah didn't want to believe it was possible, but he wouldn't be surprised if it was. "And if you're afraid that you could do that to your little girl, just give her vervain, Best in some necklace or bracelet, You won't be able to compells her at that time." Maybe it wasn't best to mention his tiny girl in front of him.
"Are you following her?" He caught the man by the jacket and gently lifted him. "No, we've been following you since we heard you are here in New York. That led us to that girl." The man gently moved his feet trying to reach the ground. "Try mentioning her again and I guarantee you will not survive." Just the idea that he might have dragged her into further danger was heartbreaking. "Now go, I don't want to see you again." The anger in him was greater than he expected, he cared about her as if they had been married for all eternity, and his love never stop.
Elizabet already had her eyelids on the half of way to not opening them for at least another hour, but her bell suddenly rang. She forced her to pick up her little ass and walk to the door. Half-naked she opened the door and was ready to tell Jessi she wasn't in the mood for her today. Jessica was Elizabeth's former classmate and also a good friend, left school because she got pregnant, now she's a fresh mother and her boyfriend asked her to marry him. Elizabeth wished it all to her, but for Liz it was little early to start a family at 22 years but if it had come to that, she wouldn't have a problem with it.
"Jess, I'm not in the moo-" Elizabeth stopped in the middle of the sentence when she saw who was really ringing at the bell. "I'm not Jess but I hope I didn't disappoint." Said tall man with the most beautiful eyes she'd ever seen. Didn't hesitate for a second and threw herself around his neck. It was a spontaneous idea she got, but she immediately recovered from it. The second thing she did to him was slap him. "That was for leaving without a single word." She said and realised she was standing half naked in front of him.
"I'm sorry." He spoke and smiled gently at her. "I've been thinking, and I've got an idea how to make it up to you." She give him a little smile and he felt butterflies in his stomach, It was the first time he'd felt it. At that moment Elizabeth start hating herself for slaping him. Even if he deserved it. "Come in." Liz invited him in, needed to get herself dressed first and definitely didn't want to leave him in the hallway.
"Look, I need put something on, so... can you please wait here?" She crossed her arms on her chest and smiled awkwardly at him. "Actually, I was going to invite you out if you wanted to. You know, hang out as apology for my behavior." He was very polite. Gentleman. Just like any man should be.
"Hang out? Is it a date?" Elizabeth was all blushing when he first mentioned that he was going to make it up to her. Now? Her cheeks were so red that she couldn't even cover it up any more. "It could be. If you want. But we going now." Elijah freaked out about this girl. He felt like he had to carry her, like he couldn't even breathe without her, and he only knows her for less than two days.
"It's sounds good. Give me moment, I'm going to dress up and we can go." She felt like she was in a fairy tale, what she was experiencing in Elijah's presence was indescribable. Unbelievable. Liz didn't understand it herself, but she wanted it to last forever.
