"Unless you take a break, your brain won't make it." Liz thought about his words for a while and then put her head on him. This is how they lay for 45 minutes until Liz's phone rang.

"You gotta be kidding me." Said Elizabeth when she saw the name on the mobile phone screen.

"What's wrong? Who's calling?" Elijah looked at her, didn't understand why she let her phone ring for so long. "It's just Dan." Her answer was simple but, however, didn't tell him more. Elijah heard little pain in her voice and he himself get that weird feeling when he she pronounced that name.

"Dan. Okay, well, are you sure you wanna answer?" Elijah leaned on the bed with his elbows and Elizabeth didn't leave his thighs. "Do I even have a choice?" With those words, she stretched out for her a phone that was so far a lot on the bed, but Elijah grabbed her hand before she could just touch it.

"Of course you have a choice." He spoke. Before he gave her an opportunity to say something, he realized he was squeezing her hand supernaturally, which he immediately stopped doing. "Sorry." He lay down in bed again.

"To late. Phone doesn't ringing any more." Elizabeth lay down too, but this time her head was on his calves and her legs were still crossed on his waist. "God, you're pretty flexible." With a gentle laugh in his voice, Elijah said.

"Well, 5 years of gymnastics will teach you something." She replied to him. It wasn't take long and Elizabeth was again tilted over Elijah. "I don't like this." He said and made it clear to her that he meant how she was in control.

Elizabeth laughed gently and she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I like it." She was about to kiss him but the phone suddenly rang again.

"Okay, you have to answer that call. It really destroys all my opportunities." And with those words that Elijah said, Elizabeth reached over the phone and picked him up.

"What do you want Dan?" They were her first words before she tried to roll over to the other side of the bed. However, she completely failed with this because once she was on the other side, Elijah got over her.

"C'om on hun, why are you so mean? I just called you."  The voice on the other side of the phone was thick but at the same time it still sounded like a kid. As much as Elijah tried not to listen to the call and devote himself to Liz's neck, the word 'hun' he couldn't ignore.

'Does anyone else have a nickname for her? And that nickname sounds like from a lover. It certainly won't be her father because he wouldn't sound like a child. Does she have anyone, is there anything she didn't tell me?' Were Elijah's thoughts moments after he heard the nickname.

"Seriously, Dan, what do you want?"

"It's your brother's birthday next week and, as you definitely remember, this time it's going to be here. So... My dad ask my to call you and invite you over for a party-celebration, call it however you want."  Like Elizabeth, so did Elijah, heard the man quite clearly.

Elijah, however, hasn't told Elizabeth about his supernatural hearing yet, so he's been trying to address what he's done before. His delicate lips touched her neck, and Elizabeth did her best not to make any a sound.

"You can't expect me to come, it's my birthday that week too and as much as I love Ryan, I can't stand you in the same room." Elizabeth stopped Elijah from kissing her neck and gave him a look.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom." Elijah whispered and got out of bed. When he got into the bathroom he banged his hand in the wall only because he was angry and at the same time he was afraid that his tiny girl was no longer his. In doing so, however, he forgot his supernatural strength and somehow caused damage. "Fuck." There was a word that came out of his mouth and at the same time was the word Elizabeth heard.

"Wait a minute, was that the man's voice I heard? You have some kind of male company in there. Oh my God. I disturbed you during sex and that's why you're so angry. I understand now."  Danny said it almost with one breath.

"Okay, you know what? I'm hanging up. Have a nice day Dan." She spoke at speed and hung up the call. Her hand ran through her hair like it always happened when she was furstrated, nervous, happy or just expresses some emotion.

"You okay!?" She shouted on Elijah in the bathroom. "Yeah, it's just-I caused some damage. I'll fix it. You have my word." When Elizabeth heard his last words, she had to smile again. Every time he said this, she felt like he never had any plans to break that promise. It gave her the feeling that when he said 'you have my word' there was no one or anything to make him break that promise.

"Dan is my mom's boyfriend son. He's little unpolite to me so..." Liz said when she saw Elijah was going back to her bedroom. "Why are you telling me this?" Elijah spoke. He wanted to know what made her tell him this.

"Oh c'om on, Elijah. You think I don't know why you get mad? You can be actually glad he call me 'hun' and he didn't use any other nickname he gives me." Liz used great disgust at the word 'hun', and at the same time, she got out of bed and walked over to Elijah.

"It's really humiliating, but, wouldn't you like to come with me to San Francisco?" Elizabeth asked him and put her arms around his body. Her head was raised up so she could look him in the eye but she held him in a hug with her hands.

"What is in San Francisco, little one?" Elijah was confused about her rapid change of theme.

"My mum. Ryan-my brother, is going to be celebrating his 17th birthday, and since our father's taking care of him, the condition in court was that Christmas, birthdays and things like this would be celebrated together." Elizabeth explained to him.

Elizabeth's parents have been divorced for nearly four years. In this case, the court granted their father the care of Ryan as their mother was not in the best condition at the time. Elizabeth was 18 at the time, so she 'ran away' from home and came here to New York. Since then, Ryan's birthday and Christmas have been celebrated together. It's once in England, where Elizabeth's father and his new family live, along with her brother, and then back in San Francisco, where their mother lives with her boyfriend and his son.

"Wow, So far, I've been trying to get you on a second date and all of a sudden we're going to meet your parents. That's a big step." Elijah smiled and pointed Elizabeth's head with his hands so he could kiss her.

Their lips were reunited, with Elijah feels Elizabeth smiling between kisses and therefore kiss lasted a little longer. "You don't have to come, it's just I don't want come alone." Her gaze fell to the ground.

"I will come. Just tell me when and how much we going to stay so I can arrange the tickets and the company too." With these words, he lifted her chin so she could look at him again. "You sure you want to go with me?" Liz's hand touched his.

"I'm sure I want to go anywhere with you."

"You know, you're kinda hot when you're jealously?" Liz said, well, better be told, she asked him. "Am I?" He tested her.

This is good beginning for both of them. The beginning of something big, nice but at the same time dangerous.
