Want To Know A Secret?

Living life as me

Is obviously much different

From living life as you

From morning to night

I worry about my siblings

I make sure they’re ready

For school or dinner

Or that they clean the house

As I sit idly by

And watch them

From morning to night

I’m thinking

Of new ideas

To put down on paper

For others to read

And enjoy

From morning to night

I’m speaking

Either words to my friends

Or my teachers

Or my siblings

I’m talking

Tasting the sound

Of each and every word
