Chapter 20 ~ first kiss

Taehyung had had a question on his mind for a while but had no idea how to approach the subject, as he watched jungkook stare out into the distance he thought now would probably be a good time

"Earlier you said you never had any friends growing up, what about after you came here?"

Jungkook shook his head "I used to be allowed to socialise with other patients here but all the kids around my age were scared of me"

"Why would they be scared of you?"

"Like I said, me being shot isn't the only reason I'm here, I don't want to talk about that right now but when I was younger everyone just avoided me then when I stopped being allowed out of my room I just gave up on the idea of friends"

"So you never fell in love? Not even a crush?" Taehyung was getting closer to what he wanted to ask but wasn't sure if jungkook would want it to be brought up

"Nope" the younger giggled "I wouldn't even know what that would feel like, anything that you can't get taught by teachers I have no idea about, I was only ten when I left the real world"

"So that the other day, was that your first kiss?" Finally the question Taehyung was wondering "I know I said I wouldn't bring it up but I wanted to know"

Jungkook replied with a nod not wanting to say anything, scared that tears would fall

"That's not right, that shouldn't have been your first. You should've had a perfect first kiss with someone you loved not with an asshole like me, that wasn't your first kiss ok? It didn't happen and as long as we believe it then it's true, you'll get your real first kiss and it'll be so much better so let's just believe it didn't happen"

Jungkook nodded again, part of him was upset by what Taehyung was saying, that small part of him didn't want to forget it but the other part of him knew that if he wanted to stay friends with Taehyung he had to just forget

"Can I ask you something now?" Jungkook asked

"Sure"

"What happened with your parents?"

Taehyung fell silent, he didn't want to stay closed off to jungkook anymore but he couldn't tell him everything, especially not the part about him
"They came to talk to my brother, well more like yell and throw stuff at him"

"Why?"

"He got caught kissing a guy, my parents hate yeonjun anyway since he's the exact opposite as how they see perfect, hopefully he gets away from them soon, I don't want them to ruin him anymore then they have"

"Your brother likes boys?"

"Yeah, he came out to me the other day in the worst possible way, even though I already knew"

"How did he come out? And what do you mean you already knew?"

"He's my little brother and although I don't see him often I'm still really close with him, he can't hide anything from me and it wasn't even like he was trying to hide it. As for how I found out I walked in on him and his boyfriend"

"Oh... we're they kissing?"

Taehyung laughed "I wish that was all they were doing"

"Ohhh...." both boys stayed quiet for a moment trying to think of something to say "are your parents not ok with yeonjun having a boyfriend then"

"They're incredibly against anyone who likes the same gender, I've never met anyone more homophobic, to this day they still don't know that pretty much all my friends are gay, if they did then I'd never be able to see them again... yeonjun will be ok though, all he's ever wanted to do is piss off my parents and he's finally did it, they still have me and they never really cared about him even when he was a baby so my guess is they'll just completely disown him which yeonjun will love"

"Do you like that Yeonjuns staying with you?"

"Honestly, yeah. I barely see him anymore and I feel like we're finally getting close again like when we were younger, and although it makes me sound like a terrible boyfriend I've loved the break from jennie" the older laughed

"Your brother sounds amazing" jungkook said with the image of his own brother in his mind

"He is, he's the only reason I still put up with my parents shit, if all their focus is on me then yeonjun will be fine, maybe one day you can meet him, you two would really get along"

"I'd love to meet him, he can tell me all the embarrassing stories about baby Taehyung"

The two laughed lightly, Taehyung then checking his watch and realising the time

"We should go soon, I don't know how much longer I'm able to open that door and we don't want to be locked out here all night"

Jungkook nodded, not actually wanting to go back but he wasn't going to put up a fight

As jungkook walked over to the door he noticed that Taehyung stopped abruptly So he turned around

"Close your eyes" Taehyung said giving jungkook slight deja vu

"You're not going to carry me down are you? I have legs you know" jungkook giggled

"Just close your eyes ok"

Doing as he was told the brunette closed his eyes once more but instead of feeling himself being lifted up he felt hands softly touch his sides, soon gripping his waist making his heart beat like crazy

Jungkook had no idea what was happening but feeling taehyungs touch on him made his breath hitch

Suddenly he left taehyungs lips meet his own, his legs feeling like they were about to give up

Having no idea what to do he started to kiss Taehyung back, putting his arms around his neck pulling him in closer, their bodies pressed against eachother

Soon Taehyung pulled away, still holding onto jungkooks waist "nothing has changed, we're still friends and i still have a girlfriend but you deserved a real first kiss" not wanting it to end Taehyung pulled jungkook back in, this time placing one hand on the boys cheek as he slowly kissed the brunette
