The voice behind me could have scared me if it wasn't for the sound of high heels clicking on the floor. Just like last time Ashton stepped slightly to the side whilst turning around to obstruct my view.

"Barely even looks like fairy. If I saw her on the street I'd think she was a human."

To be honest she wasn't wrong. I know what fairies dress like. They see humans as stupid idiots and don't care about what they think. Some plant fairies I've seen where some of the gorgeous long vintage dresses and sometimes matched to heels with straps wrapping up and around their legs like vines. However, me and El live in a town full to the brim with humans and not many Prime beings at all. El doesn't care and sticks out like a sore thumb, but I've never been very good with my confidence. Now I'm still stood here wearing my simple, human outfit.

"Because for the past few days I've been trying to blend in with the humans," I lied. Now I decided to push Ashton to the side and stepped slightly forwards. If I am surrounded by people I don't know, they don't need to know that in the past I would never have even said yes to talking to Ashton. I vowed that when I would meet my parents I would change to be someone who did what I wanted whenever I wanted. Instead, I've decided to start now. Before we came I packed clothes from my wardrobe that I had never been brave enough to wear. As soon as whatever this is, I'm going to change out of my 'human' clothes.

"Really?" one of the girls from earlier was stood in front of us. Her eyes were a brown, and a similar shade to her hair with... bright pink highlights. In my head the small pieces started clicking together. Her eyes had been turning bright pink the first time I saw her, the exact colour a soul fairy's eyes go. For a while I debated whether to say anything or not. What if I was wrong and wasn't the fairy from the toilets? What if I offend Ashton by saying something? What if she was that fairy and takes my soul because she seems scary? I decided against saying anything.

"What?" was Ashton's blunt reply.

"That can't be it. How the hell is that the weapon. I've never seen something look more useless." Her eyes were burning into me and I couldn't help but wonder if she was comparing me to the weapon. It was very obvious that this girl didn't like me. I turned around and took the vial from El who was now holding it up to the closest street light.

"From what I've heard when it gets wound up it can do a lot of damage." I said repeating El's earlier position and holding it up to the light.

"Do you seriously think that's it? It's tiny-" The girl sounded like she wanted to keep going but Ashton took the small pause as his sign to start talking, "No, we definitely got the right one. If you ask me, size doesn't matter. How about you Ainsley?" He turned to me. I hummed in response not completely understanding what he was asking because I am apparently a lot more dirty minded than I thought.

"I asked if you if size matters?" Oh. I was right to be thinking that way because it sounds like he meant it that way. I blushed as I thought of my answer.

"Well, I always thought the bigger the better but I could maybe change my mind if I was given reason to." I couldn't help but at least giggle when I said that. El sent me a disapproving look as she whispered, "Don't start flirting with him."

"Why not? We're helping him now and he seems nice enough." I whispered back, "Good looking too."

"Well Ashton. I don't think you would be the reason she'd change her mind."

"Anyway. I'm sure we all have places to be so how about we got to those places right now?" El was desperately trying to end the conversation.

"Well I don't have anywhere to be, but I know all of you do. So I guess I'll see you there." the fairy said before turning away and strutting away back into the pub.

"Who is that?" I asked. It very much seemed like Ashton and the fairy knew each other, so I wanted to see how they knew each other before assuming she was at the service station.

"That's Visha. She's... an old friend." The long pause seemed to last a few minutes and his face saddened as he looked down. It was almost like I could feel that he regretted ever meeting her. Even though it was just a feeling I decided to at least to hint to my guess.

"Do you know what kind of fairy she is?" He looked back up and the sadness in his face was quickly replaced by a smile. A genuine smile too, "I think you already know the answer to that." He wasn't wrong.

"Well, do you know where she's been today?" I asked again.

"I said old friend. Old. I haven't spoken to her in months."

"Wait what's going on?" El had clear confusion plastered on her face. I looked at Ashton hoping he would maybe answer the question, and maybe some of mine at the same time. Just as second after me he returned the look clearly waiting for me to say it. What if I had something wrong? It already seemed like he knew more than me.

"That fairy, Visha, is a soul fairy, the same type of fairy that was in the toilets." I glanced at Ashton and I almost felt pride, but I didn't know where from because I was stating simples facts that I thought were obvious. However, the feeling made me keep going, "And by the looks of it me and Ashton both think she could've been the fairy at the service station." It almost sounded like a question as I kept my eyes on Ashton, not wanting to offend him.

"If she is, how do you know it was specifically her?" El asked. Personally, I didn't know for sure but luckily Ashton finally decided to chip in.

"Because she is one of the fairies I know for sure wouldn't mind working for Seth. She has been known to do dimple favours for him, so I don't see why she wouldn't take it a step further full on work for him. Especially if there's something in it for her."

"What could a werewolf give to a soul fairy? She seems like she could get anything she wanted. Soul fairy or not." El asked.

"Power. Visha owes everything in her life to other people giving her power to the point where people just let her have it." Ashton explained, "Seth was already getting more and more subjects to help him."

"Earlier you said Seth wanted to wipe out anyone who didn't agree with what's right. What does Seth think is right?" I asked remembering what he had said earlier.

"He think werewolves are the superior Prime Beings and wants them to be in charge. He thinks that we're smarter, more careful and more appreciative of our power, whereas the rest of Prime Beings can use the power whenever they please, and even on humans."

"And do you agree with his opinions?" El asked. I didn't really want to annoy him because he didn't seem to enjoy talking about it. Rather irritated actually.

"I agree that you're all so snotty about getting away with magic and being able to do anything in front of humans without them really realising, but it isn't your fault. If we wolves didn't have to hide we wouldn't, so why should you?" At least he was honest.

"Well if it helps me and El lived in an area where we weren't allowed to use magic. More humans than most fairy villages," I laughed, "That didn't stop El from using magic though."

"Well then. I know it's a lot to ask but, do you maybe want to help me get this to Seth without having myself killed?"
