Chapter 2

At a Military base back home a plane was seen dropping its ramp revealing Tony, Rhodey, and William in modern clothes. Rhodey was helping Tony out of his wheelchair, William got out of his with help of a female soldier, and they inched their way down the ramp. Tony had a sling on his right arm, and William had a sling on his left. They were then greeted by two gurneys to which they waved them off.

Tony:
What is this? Get rid of them.

William:
I'm fine, I don't need to go to a hospital. I don't need it.

Both of the brothers waved the paramedics away. Rhodey, and the female soldier waved them off too. They were about to continue when William saw her.

Katie was standing next to Pepper, and she had tears running down her face, but she wore a smile as well, and she approached William placing her hands on his cheeks.
Part of her thought it was a dream, but as she placed her hands on his cheeks, she then pulled him in for a death grip of a hug.

William:
I missed you so much.

He said softly to her.

After what seemed like a long time, they all ended up in the limo, and Happy was wanting to know where to go.

Happy:
Where to, Sirs?

Pepper:
Take us to the hospital, please Happy.

Tony/William:
No.

They said simultaneously.

Pepper:
No?

William:
Out of the question.

Katie:
William, I think we should go to the hospital.

She said agreeing with Pepper.

Tony:
Will, and I have been in captivity for three months. Will, and I had talked it over, and there are two things we want to do. We want an American Cheeseburger, and the second....

Pepper:
Oh, God please, that's enough of that.

Katie couldn't help but smile, and blush at this.

William:
Would you please get your mind out of the gutter, we want to call for a press conference.

Katie:
Wait, a press conference?

Pepper:
Call for a press conference? What on earth for?

Tony:
Hogan, drive Cheeseburger first.

They tried to change their minds, but to no avail. What was shocking to Katie the most was that both Tony and William had what was told to them, an miniaturized Arc Reactor in their chests, and it's keeping the shrapnel in their chest from entering their hearts. She couldn't help but feel sorry for the both of them.

Eventually they had arrived at Stark Industries, with everyone cheering for the return of the Starks, the media was all over the place trying to get a picture, a word from the Starks.
At the front of the building was Obadiah Stane, and he was happy to see them in one piece, he opened the door for them letting them out of the car.

Obadiah:
Look, at the two of you, you look good. Are any of these burgers for me, did you bring me one?

Tony:
Sorry there are only two left, and we both need them.

Katie then walked up to William.

Katie:
William, are you sure about this?

William:
I am, this has to be done.
