despite all the fuzzy white noise in my brain, music always made me have an empty mind. thats why, instead of plain basic alarm sounds, i've always used music as my alarm.

i like to think that your day revolves around the first emotion you feel when you wake up. no one wants to wake up sad, but i don't want to wake up happy. i'd rather start my morning with a bittersweet symphony. if i awoke to a soft ballad, all i'd do is cry that day (even more so than normal). and if i were to wake up to a cheery melody, i'd feel guilty.
