When Hannah's eyes opened in the morning, the ceiling was moving back and forth. The entire room was. But then she realised that she was seeing the world through a thick lens of tears. And she had no idea how they had gotten there.
"Hannah, are you all right?" Ethan asked softly, putting a hand on her shoulder.
     She stared at the ceiling.
     "Hannah?"
"Where's Lexie?" Her voice was quiet and shaky.
Ethan sighed, "She's in the shower."
Hannah just looked even more upset than she already was.
     "What happened?"
Hannah slowly sat up, pulling her knees to her chest.
     "Was it a nightmare?"
     Hannah nodded.
     "What was it about?"
     "Everyone died."
Ethan looked at her sympathetically, "You okay?"
     She nodded again.
"You wanna go get some breakfast?"
She cautiously smiled and stood up, grabbing hold of Ethan's hand.
"Okay." He smiled and they started to walk downstairs.

"Morning," Henry said as they sat down.
"Hey," Ethan said, getting two plates and giving one to Hannah.
She looked up from the table where her eyes had been fixed to avoid eye contact and she immediately smiled. "Alice?"
"Hey, Hannah Banana," Alice smiled and stood up.
Hannah ran over, throwing her arms around Alice, before standing back. "Your hair looks different."
"I dyed it a little while ago. You like it?"
Hannah nodded as she sat back down and started eating her pancakes.
Even though Hannah was seemingly okay, especially since she'd seen Alice, Ethan still decided to text Lex to make sure she came down when she was ready.

Ethan

Hey, just to let you know Hannah had a nightmare, I think she's fine now but you might wanna come down here just in case

Lex

Oh god, are you having breakfast?

Ethan

Yep

Lex

Okay, I'll be down in five x

Ethan

Five minutes later, Lex appeared at the door before sitting down next to Hannah, looking at her worriedly bit trying to be subtle.
     "You okay, Banana?"
     She nodded.
"Okay, good." Then Ethan handed her a plate. "Thanks."
She didn't even notice the inquisitive way Bill was looking at her.
"Dad!" Alice whispered as she nudged him, snapping his gaze away.
     "What?"
     "Stop it."
He sighed, "Sorry! It's just strange thinking about you two together."
She raised an eyebrow at him before turning back to her waffles.

After breakfast, Alice and Hannah decided to go through to the living room to play monopoly.
"What colour do you wanna be?" Alice asked as Hannah set up the board.
     "Yellow."
"Okay, I'll be blue. I've not played this game in ages. Hope you still remember how to."
     Hannah grinned mischievously and nodded.

"Ethan, are you okay? You're being sort of quiet," Lex said as they sat down in their room.
"It's just-" he sighed, running his hands through his hair.
"What is it?" Lex sat next to him, putting her arm around him.
"Hannah said that in her nightmare everyone died. What if everyone else did?"
     "Is this about your dad?"
He nodded, "I know it's stupid-"
"It's not, Ethan. It's not stupid."
"I just wish that we knew what happened."
"I know," she hugged him, "I know."

Despite her lack of recent practice, Alice was still surprised when she lost. Badly.
"We need a rematch. That's not fair."
"Just because I won?" Hannah asked, laughing.
     "Pretty much, yeah."
     "Maybe I'll win again."
     "You better not!"
     "I can't help it if I'm better!"
"Excuse me?" Alice feigned offence, making Hannah laugh even more.
"I said I can't help it if I'm better!" Hannah repeated amongst the laughter.
     "You take that back!"
     "Never!"
     "Take it back or-"
     Then the door opened.
"Hey, guys," Lex said, "What's going on?"
"I beat Alice at monopoly!" Hannah said gleefully.
"She did. I lost pretty badly," Alice admitted.
"We were just gonna watch a movie," Ethan said, "You guys wanna join?"
Hannah nodded so the four of them sat up on the couch and put on a movie.
Within a half hour, Hannah was asleep on Alice's shoulder and the three teenagers were sitting watching a Disney princess movie. And they were all loving it.
