At the guest meeting room near the Princopal's room, an meeting was arranged, between Lux Arcadia and his little sister Airi Arcadia, accompained with a girl with a black bob-cut. "I am deeply sorry for what leads up to today's event, Airi."
The younger Arcadia sighed, and gesture to the girl standing next to her. "She is my roommate at the dormitory." "Yes. I am Noct Leaflet of the first year, it is nice to meet you." "Ah, nice to meet you as well." He replied with a soft smile on his face. Hering a cough from his sister, Lux was nearly ready for a berating from her. But when they sit down on the sofas, she stare at her brother with a tint of seriousness in her eyes.
"Please, Nii-san think about my position as well before you act!" 'Again, I am sorry." "*sigh* As much as I wanted you to learn a lesson, but we have a special situation here. I can't take the debts if you are thrown into jail..."
As brother and sister from the Arcadia royalty, while Lux is always away from the wroks given by the citizens, Airi will be under observation from the currnet royalty, and as "Plan B" should anything happened to Lux.
"And so, you have to defeat Lisesharte-sama at all cost, however..." catching her voice trailing off, Lux try his best to follow up. "Is she strong?" "She is famed for never losing a fight, and that was before she acquired a Divine Drag-ride, she is a very strong opponent for you."
The prince take a few deep breaths, and a gulp. "... I am ready." "That's the Nii-san I always know." As Airi stood up, and lead his brother to the hangar for Drag-ride check, while gave him a run-down on the princess's battle strategy.

"And now, we shall begin the duel of The first princess of the New Kingdom, Lisesharte, and the former seventh prince of the Old Empire, Lux!" As soon as those words are spoken from the judge, the spectator cheers with excitments. Their combat area is a proving ground for Drag-knights, it's construction is akin to that of a gladiator arena.
Lux had a small feeling of winning, but he hestiated, or rather, a feeling of nervous from the crowds of spectator, which even include instrutors on the seat, spectating the fight. "Lux Arcadia," the princess asked, "do you wish to know the reason of the duel?" "Of my identity as a prince from the Old Empire?"
The prince of the Old Empire, one that installed the thoughts of inferior women among its people; and the princess of the New Kingdom, one that encouraged the female to be Drag-knights due to their higher affinity than male.
A fight between male and female; a fight between the old and new nations. A very interesting fight to be certain, in many's eyes. However, to the blonde princess, the fight has one more meaning to it, that only she would know—
"I will tell you if you win the fight."
As the instructor on the field gestured, they both summoned their Drag-ride: "Come fourth, Crest Winged-Dragon that symbolized power, soar with my blade, Wvyern!" "Awaken, Founding Ancestor, Kings of the Dragon Gods to become an army of itself, Tiamat!"
Lisesharte is adorned in a red Divine Drag-ride, bigger and assumingly better equipped, when compared to Lux's Aerial-based common Drag-ride, only with extra armor to stand out from other Wyverns.
A brief silence filled the arena, followed by a quick ringing from the bell, and the phase "Let the mock battle commence" shouted from the judge, the two Drag-knights made their moves.
As Lisesharte fly up to the skies, she aimed her Breath Gun to Lux's right, which confused him yet looked around as precaution. His puuil shrunked when he saw a red projectile zooming onto him on the left. Timing the projectile's impact, he flew up , and barely dodged the projectile and the shot from Tiamat's Breath Gun. Should he struck by the proejctile, the momentum would have him met the barrel's end of her gun.
The Legion, as Lux remember Airi's run-down on Lisesharte's Divine Drag-ride Tiamat, is the special armament of the Drag-ride, arrowhead-shaped projectiles controlled by the Drag-knight's will. Currently, four of them are floating around Tiamat.
"Impressive, Lux Arcadia, but not enough." Truth to her words, Lux's Wyvern is only equipped with the basic armaments: Breath Gun, a Scale Sword, 3 throwing dagger, and a wiretail for whipping. In his arsenal, none are able to penetrate her Tiamat, both her shield barrier and her armor.
Just as Lux thought that he could continuted to stall his time for a draw — also what he was known for as the "Weakest Undefeated" — Lisesharte draw her sword and point upwards. "Tiamat! Show your true self!" A bright glow surrounded the Red Divine Drag-ride. The glow soon died down, revealed a huge cannon with seven muzzle.
Tiamat's main armament, Seven Heads. Not only that, but she called out 12 Legions, making it 16 on the field.
Ignoring the pleas from the panicked instructors, her lips curved upwrads. "dance with me, Lux Arcadia, and try to catch up." With a swung of her sword, the Legions begin to fly around the arena.
The Legions seems to be flying freely, but Lux saw the pattern among the unorganized flying path, and focus his mind on the projectiles. He took glance at the fully charged Sevens Head, the fight will be over if he stopped.
As he begin to fly around the arena, he was also being chased by 16 Legions, fast and small projectiles, yet he utilized all he has in the Wyvern, and parried the attacks with minimal damaged on his shield barrier, and his armaments showing small yet visible damages.
Seven minutes has passed, yet to everyone's suprise, Lux is still on the field, barely dodging the projectiles, even suffering damaged from his Aerial drag-ride. Lisesharte took a small glance at the clock with gritted teeth — three minutes remaining. The fight has become that of a attrition, the durability of Wyvern's armaments and her mental and stamina. She has made her decision.
With another swing of her sword, she chanted: "Tremble in the name of god! Suppressor!" Lux felt as if a heavy weight was put onto him, as the Wyvern crashed onto the ground, the crack and the small sinks of his foot hold indicated the "weight" is more than what he thought of.
All Divine Drag-ride has their own Divine Raiment, their secret trump card. Tiamat's Divine Raiment, Suppressor, is one about gravity control. Lux's escape routs seems to be cut of by the surrounding Legion, and he was ready to embrace the incoming shot from Seven Heads.
Both Lux and Lisesharte are suprised as they saw the floatning projectiles fell to the ground, and the princess find a hard way to control her Drag-ride.
A proper Drag-knight is required to use their stamina to control the Drag-ride itself, and mental power to control any external armaments, with the lost of either one's stamine or mental power, the Drag-ride will went on a rampage, a term used when the Drag-knight lost control of the Drag-ride. Preventing the occurrence of rampage is an important issue among Divine Drag-knights, along with the diffculity of controlling Divine Drag-ride and to be aware of one's stamina.
The princess has taken pride of her streaks of victories, and she terminated her connection with Legion, while focusing everything on Seven Heads. The prince also went on to give the best shot at the moment, raising his sword and dash towards Tiamat.
But what appears to be the climax of the fight was interrupted by someone, or rather, something, as the roaring of a beast can be heard directly from above. They looked up to see a inhuman creature has entered the arena.
