The night passes surprisingly fast, forcing the moon to hide back to where it usually is and the sun delightfully shines its rays as if it's excited for everybody to start the day. The day has started, it's a little warmer than usual and it's San Diego, near the beach. Probably most people are excited to start the day.

Except for you two. Both of you are still sleeping, the coldness of the AC yet you both feel the warmth from each other's presence. Still, the coldness of the AC and the sun rays peeking through the curtain slowly wakes Lizzie up.

She opens her eyes and she sees your face, a glimpse of sunlight lays on your face. She looks at you for a few seconds, she is about to smile when she looks at you until she realizes how close your faces are.

The gap between you is not even an inch, the pillows that were meant to separate you two are no longer to be found between you, the comforter is already way down on the end of the bed, no longer covering both of you. Her gaze moves down to your collar bones and that leads her to your cleavage. A line formed in your cleavage because you are sleeping on your side. She continues down, then she starts to freak out after finding out where your hand is and also her hand is.

Your left hand is on her waist, and her right hand is on your waist with her legs entwined with yours. "Oh. my. God! Y/n wake up!" She starts to move to pull her hand and her leg away from you and slightly push you away. "Hmm?" You hummed as you stirred from your sleep. "Y/n, wake up!"

This time her loud voice wakes you up, it even shocks you. You were startled, not knowing what was going on, so you jolted and landed on your back in an instance trying to sit up but too bad your back was way to the edge of the bed so you fell out of the bed. Loud thump broke the silence in the room. "What? What? What's going on?" You are still half awake but panic as your hand is roaming around the nightstand to find your glasses. Lizzie almost snorted a laugh seeing you like this but she held herself, as usual disguised her true emotion.

You finally put on your glasses and stand up with slightly messy hair. "What happened? Are you okay?" You asked with your morning raspy voice. "What the hell y/n?! I woke up with your hand on my waist! We were so close like we were hugging." Of course Lizzie will not mention that her hand was on you as well. She will never want you to know about it. Ever.

"Seriously? You freaked out and woke me up like there's an emergency just because of that?" You retorted with a huge displeasure, both of your hands on your hips. "Of course I freaked out. Your hand was on me." She argued with you, slightly raising her voice sitting on the bed. You chuckled sarcastically. "Oh yeah? You talked like your hand wasn't on me as well."

"No, my hand wasn't on you. That will never ever happen." She denied it instantly, worried that you felt her hand was on you earlier. "Oh yeah, oh yeah, your hand was on me. I had to keep moving your hand off of me not once, not twice, but three times! Because I know if you find out, THIS - THIS will happen." Your hand moves signaling the argument that's happening right now. You clench your jaw.

"Well this would not happen if the pillows between us weren't removed." Annoyance evident on her face and voice.

You laughed sarcastically. "Well, it wasn't me who took the pillows away. Most of the time, I don't move when I sleep." Lizzie's head quickly turns to you as fast as it can, bewildered with what you just said. " So you were saying I was the one who moved the pillows? I wouldn't do that!"

"Oh yeah? Then why are the pillows on the floor, near your side of the bed?" You pointed it out to her with no hesitation. What you just said really hit her and actually left her speechless and made her think. Thinking that maybe it was her who moved the pillow but also thinking what she should say to you to deny it. As soon as her mouth starts to open, you cut her off. "Uh huh, yeah, you know I was right don't you?" You gave her a victory smile.
