This chapter is about Kageyama ship headcannons, in this chapter I kind of wanted to write how I think most of Kageyama ships would've worked out in cannon.
At this point this is not even a thank you, it's a sorry for not posting😥 I'm really sorry but I just didn't feel motivated to write so I didn't and I was busy too but let's just start here.
• Kageyama was the one who confessed. I feel like it would be a traditional way of confessing with a letter behind the school while blushing because he's definitely a tsundere.
• Kageyama asked for help from Hinata because he probably doesn't have any experience as a last option though. He tried to just forget out his crush at first but that didn't really work out when he sees the blonde everyday.
• Of course Hinata being him, was very surprised and literally shouted about it in front of the whole volleyball team so Tsukishima kinda expected the confession when it happened.
• Hinata and Kageyama were oblivious that the team already knew of Tobio's crush due to them being loud as if they were in their own world and the team didn't tell them either because they thought it was amusing how the first years were freaking out over a crush. (Especially their senpais because they had experienced the same thing in their first years too)
• Tsukishima was shocked when he heard about the Kageyama's crush on him because they fought all the time so how did the king even get a crush on him out of all people? But after some consult from Yamaguchi, he didn't tease Kageyama about his crush because Kageyama usually didn't share stuff about him so the king would 100% be more closed off with the team and the team would not be happy and blame him for it.
• Tsukishima had expected the confession from Kageyama after the "incident", that's what Tanaka and Nishinoya called it anyway. But what he had not expected was for Kageyama to take this long. It had been a month and still no "I want to date you or I like you's" from the king. Maybe he was afraid? But why would the king be afraid? Thoughts like these began to run around Tsukishima's head and slowly but surely the blonde became to get fascinated and his mind was filled up with a certain raven.
• So, it goes without saying that when Kageyama finally did confess albeit 2 months after the fiasco, Tsukishima accepted and thus the awkward dating phase began. The usual fights between them stopped but when they did happen it sure was a sight to behold. Both of them didn't want to actually hurl insults like "Shittyshima, your majesty's" since they didn't want the other to get hurt but what actually happened was them just fighting with a lot of sexual tension between them and a pinch of awkwardness of course.
• Their first date was probably very awkward and a lot of mess ups between them both but after a while, they did have fun and soon came the days where skinship began. It had started with hand holding to hugs to small kisses and after a makeout session in the raven's home.
• 6 months later and you'd find it hard to believe they were even the same flustered Kageyama and Tsukishima at first. Now that they were much more comfortable , the team had to deal with pda on a daily basis and way too much passive agressive flirting specially on matches. But they were glad that their dear kouhais were comfortable around them.
