After defeating ginjo Ichigo walks back seeing his brother talking with everyone the other fullbringers we're let go as ginjo's body was taken back to the soul society Ichigo and y/n following after Ichigo asking to let ginjo's body come back to the human world and be given a human burial as he was a human not a soul reaper Ichigo was allowed to do this now they stand at the senkimon y/n looking around before something crosses his mind

Y/n:hey Ichigo I think I'm going to stay in the soul society for a bit

Ichigo:huh? ok but everyone's waiting for us to come back what do you want me to tell them

Y/n used motus and disappears from sight reappearing at the Shiva clan house

Kuukaku stops walking and opens a door a smile makes it's way to get face

After a long conversation it was decided to wait for a good moment to look for the weapon y/n and rukia are walking through the seireitei enjoying the peace

Time skip a few weeks later Ichigo is walking down the road as a soul reaper a sword in his back and one at his hip thanks to old man Zangetsu his Old sword was able to work with the Asauchi and merge into it for some reason it resulted in two swords

Ichigo:who's special now y/n your sealed state is one sword

White:so was yours for years

Ichigo:.... Shut up I have two swords now

Old man:until they remerge

Ichigo:LET ME HAVE THIS

White:you know king it's a little sad when you try and one up the little bro when he isn't even here

Ichigo:SHUT UP

spiritual pressure falls onto Ichigo who immediately springs into action
