Ryu's POV:

I did not sleep a wink.

All my thoughts were on the man; hoping that he was sleeping peacefully in my living room. One would think I am mean and heartless to not accomodate him in my bedroom; but knowing Akira, I knew he was glad that I gave him that space he desperately needed.

Taking cold shower was very much a necessity and the sting on my neck was a definite reminder of what transpired last night. Akira's bite reminded me of a phrase I learnt in school; 'Often beautiful things hurt you the most', now whether he is going to hurt me or be something more is to be seen. At this very moment I simply have to focus on saving and protecting him.

Walking through my closet I picked out two pairs of shorts, singlets, and a new boxer for him; which made me wonder was he a size bigger even in this department?

Get your mind out of the gutter Feng!

Placing his clothes on my bed and donning mine, I realised that my counter was vibrating. On further inspection I found it was Akira's phone indicating that the charge was low. He must have placed it here last night.

Damn! He would be needing his charger and my port does not fit his. Don't let you mind dive into the gutter again, Ryu!

Slipping it into my pocket I proceeded towards the living room, only for my breath to falter at the sight of a huge man curled like a kitten on my small two seater couch.

He looked so cute!

Akira's locks completely covered his forehead and watching him now; no one would believe that his man is a force to be reckoned with. Not having the heart to wake him up, I entered my kitchen only to find the fridge almost empty.

Feng, you have someone living in this house with you. No longer can you leave things as it is.

'Will you keep a pot of coffee ready for me?'

His question from yesterday made me reach for the upper cabinet and was glad to find a bag of fresh coffee all set to be brewed.

Good job Maggie!

With the machine doing her job, I quickly left my house to buy some groceries with a hope to be back soon before Akira woke up.

Grocery shopping has always been tiresome for me. Luckily, it has either been Maggie or Logan who have stacked my place with food and drinks. Leave it to me and I'll spend my entire life eating ramyeon.

"Hello Ryu!"

Glancing at Mrs. Blake's graceful presence I smile and greet, "How are you this fine morning Mrs. Blake?"

"Now that I have seen your handsome face; my world is much better. Just don't tell Mr. Blake about this." The last one was a whisper which made me laugh.
