• Chapter 9 •

Todoroki's POV

The whole Class 1-A finished training and went back to the classroom. Training ended a few minutes ago, so everyone was just talking to each other.

A few of the students started to exit the classroom and go to their dorms. I was still sitting at my desk in the back of the class like always.

All of my mind's thoughts were nothing but y/n.

"Maybe I'm thinking about y/n because Ashido told me that y/n hasn't been getting enough sleep lately," I thought.

"I suppose I'm just worried about y/n.."

Sometime later, y/n and her brother left their desks and walked out of the classroom as well.

Before y/n left, she waved with a friendly smile on her face, although she looked pretty tired.

I waved back and turned my eyes the other way. I didn't want her to see if my face was red or not.

"I realized that I can't let Katsuki know I'm in love with her own sister.. he'd be furious," I thought.

"If he's mad at the fact I'm talking to y/n, then he'd be a lot more mad if he finds out I love his sister.."

I sighed in disappointment as my head was facing down on the ground.

"Are you okay, Todoroki?" Yaoyorozu asked. "You seem a bit disappointed about something."

"..I'm fine, don't worry about me," I replied.

"Erm- not to make assumptions, but.. is this about y/n?" Yaoyorozu whispered.

She was talking in a low and soft voice. She didn't want anyone to overhear us.

"Oh, erm, yeah.. it is," I said. "I'm a bit disappointed since I know that Katsuki would probably hate me more if he finds out.."

"True.. I hope he doesn't get too pissed off about the fact you love y/n.." she said. "..but I'm sure that y/n would love you even if her brother hates you!"

"I hope that she loves me.." I muttered quietly.

"Erm, I think we should get to our dorms. We should get going now," she said.

"All right," I replied. We both left the classroom and went to go back to our rooms.

I opened the door to my room. Before I could even lie down on my bed, I suddenly heard a few people talking to each other.

"Oh, that's probably Sero from the other room talking to someone else since his dorm is right next to mine," I thought.

As I was trying to rest, I heard y/n's voice as well from the other room.

"I suppose that is y/n is talking to Sero in the other room."

As I was relaxing in my bed, Sero and y/n kept talking.

I wasn't really bothered by them talking, although their conversation did get my attention, and I accidentally overheard what they were saying..

Y/n's POV

"Thanks for inviting me to your dorm, Sero," I said.

"No problem!" he replied.

He was calmly relaxing on top of his hammock with his hands on the back of his head.

"Erm, why exactly did you invite me, though?" I asked.

"Oh, right. I almost forgot- I wanted to ask you if you've been doing all right with your brother," he said.

"Well, I wouldn't say I've been doing 'all right.' I'd say I've been doing a little bit okay," I explained.
