Falling for you

Prologue

Catra has had a crush on Adora since freshman year in high school *flashback* (Catra's POV) I started speed walking down the halls of Bright Moon High, I woke up late again! I can't help it I need my beauty sleep. As I was rushing to class I was so determined to get there on time I wasn't paying attention to the path in front of me. My eyes widened as I slammed into something hitting the floor with a thud.

I looked down. Before me was a blonde-haired blue-eyed girl, her hair was tied up in a tight ponytail with a poof on the top. Sorry, I woke up late and need to get to class I said. It's fine the girl said. I realized I was still on top of her. Sorry, I said again blushing. She laughed. I'm Adora. Uh, Catra I said. Cool, so I'll see you around I guess? Yeah, Yeah I'll see you around.

Once I got to Language Arts I couldn't stop thinking about that girl Adora, she was so...adorable. Haha, puns. I was snapped out of my trance when I heard my name. Catra? Catra!? My ears perked up. Wait what? My teacher repeated her question. I usually play Roblox During class so I didn't know the answer.

I stared at her blankly. Next time pay attention she said narrowing her eyes. Phew, I'm glad I got out of that one easily. My language arts teacher Shadow Weaver doesn't particularly like me. If I do so much as doze off she would call up Principal Angella and send me to detention. Especially when she finds out I was playing Adopt Me during class.

She must have been in a really good mood today to just let me off on a warning. Maybe she finally got a girlfriend or something. Everyone in the school knows she has a crush on Principal Angella. But ever since her husband Micah died she hasn't really been into the whole dating thing. Now that I think about it half the reason she gives me detention is probably that she wants to call her precious Principal Angella.

I hate her guts and all but honestly, I think her crush on Principal Angella Is kind of cute. Not that I'd ever say it out loud. I wouldn't want people to think I'm a softie. At lunch, I sat alone putting my knees up on the table eating my normal tuna sandwich. To make sure I have enough time to eat my lunch I run to the cafeteria every day. I'm always one of the first people to cross through the cafeteria doors.

I was already halfway through my sandwich when a girl with short white hair and scorpion features took a seat next to me. Hi, my name is Scorpia! She said enthusiastically, signaling to a purple-haired steampunk girl to come sit with her. This is my cousin Entrapta, Scorpia said as the girl sat down, we're new here. I'm... Catra I said confused. We saw you sitting alone and wanted to talk to you. No one should sit alone at lunch Scorpia said like it was obvious.

I finished the last bite of my sandwich, unsure of what to say I asked if they played Roblox sparks lit up in Scorpia's eyes while Entrapta seemed to be working on some kind of small robot not paying attention to either of us. Yes! Scorpia exclaimed. Entrapta does too, this is just the only time she's allowed to build robots,The teachers won't let her do it during class.

I should friend you, my username is SoftScorpionHugs, and Entrapta's is BotBuilder3. Mine's RebelKitty538 I said knowing there wouldn't be a way around not telling Scorpia my username without hurting her feelings. Scorpia grabbed my phone and added in her username then picked up her phone to accept it. Then she took Entrapta's phone and did the same thing.

A familiar blond-haired girl entered the cafeteria with two people. One of them was a short sparkly haired girl, and the other was a boy with tan skin and a golden crop top shirt with a heart in the center. They sat down at a lunch table full of people and Catra turned back to Scorpia and Entrapta. They both didn't seem to notice her staring both still occupied by Roblox and the strange robot Entrapta was still building.

The bell rang, lunch was over. Scorpia and Entrapta got up telling me they would text me later as I headed to my next class. I tried to get rid of them for a while after that but they just wouldn't leave me alone so I stopped trying to get away from them and eventually we became friends. *End of Flashback*.

A/N: Hey everyone just to clarify I have watched the whole show and I know that Micah is alive and Angella is dead, I just don't ship him and Angella so in this fic he is dead and both Angella and Shadow weaver are alive. That was a short first chapter but it was just the prologue I'll try to make the rest longer. All Hybrids are still Hybrids in this fic.
