Rain did come like Aether said and it was a good thing they found a cave to shelter in. A bonfire was in the middle of the three, keeping them warm as the rain poured outside the cave. Every time one of them talked, their voices echoed throughout the cave. " The cave goes in further.. " The girl who was covering herself with her coat, unconsciously said it out loud.
" You want to check it out? " The blonde boy asked when he heard her voice. " Huh? Ah- I was just wondering why. " " If you're curious we should totally check it out! " Paimon chirped with Aether agreeing. " Alright then.. I hope it isn't much trouble. " " It isn't, don't worry. " The two said in harmony which cracked a smile on Y/N's face.
Grabbing a piece of wood and lighting it up as a torch, the three made their way further in the cave. The walls of the cave got narrower as they went deeper, making their navigation slower. ' Maybe I shouldn't have asked them.. ' Carefully making her way through the narrow cave, she first arrived at a more spacious part of it.
This part of the cave didn't look like it was natural, it was more on the side of man-made. A shiny treasure chest stood in the middle and suddenly a square window popped out.
