"Cyber bullying is no laughing matter."

Fallon cringed as she listened to Ms. Blatt speak to the school. And at first she thought her lecture was funny, because she knew first hand how little Ms. Blatt really cared about kids being bullied at school.

Fallon had tried to explain her situation with Allison to her sophomore year, but she dismissed her. She simply told her all about how Allison was just wonderful and she could never see her treating someone like that.

It was all 'forgiveness is key' and 'kill them with kindness'. A bunch of crap to turn the blame to the kids that didn't fit in. Just chalking it up to the fact that they don't try hard enough.

However, her humorous attitude quickly shifted after Ms. Blatt said something incredibly stupid. "I will not name names, but the other day a mother called me up. Because her son was crying, after some kids online made fun of his facial deformity."

Suddenly, stares formed around their table. Everyone knew it was Eli, how could they not. It's not like you run into a kid with a facial deformity everyday.

"If she going to tell the story she should at least tell it right." Fallon scorned. "It wasn't some kids making fun. It was Allison and her sick vendetta against me."

"You know, if you guys are sick of being bullied, my karate dojo is looking for recruits." Miguel inserted, hoping for the group to take him up on the offer.

"Oh you hear that guys? Some karate training and everything will be all better! No more teasing for us!" Demetri mocked.

"I'm serious Demetri. My sensei, he's the real deal. I can maybe even get you all discounts." Miguel smiled, a hopeful glimmer in his eye.

"Oh I'm good, I think we would all rather spend time playing video games than spend time getting hit in the face." Fallon ignored Demetri's lack of optimism, because she was seriously considering it. She figured, she already has an athletic background with volleyball, a new sport couldn't hurt. Especially one with the enticing offer of self defense.

Luna laughed. "I don't know, it could be a cool stage trick."

"And now you've convinced a theater kid she can fight." Demetri scoffed, earning a light smack from Luna.

Fallon and Luna had decided to have a sleepover before the dance. They would often have sleepovers at Fallon's house because of her father's busy work schedule.

Additionally, without her father's knowledge, Eli would often spend the night. Of course, this was only on days Fallon was sure her father wouldn't come home. It's not that they were doing anything sexual, just the idea of a boy in Fallon's bed was not okay with Mr. Shepard.
