A poet never misrecollects his own poem,

For if it isn't thoughtfully inked with the delicate stroke of a pen,

Freely roaming amongst the extensive breadth of bleached paper,

Or consciously engraved in the profundity of a poet's own mind,

It is passionately breathing within the durable walls of its home,

The heart.
