Green Eyes

I scream for salvage,

As I submerge in the depth of your soul,

Pools of lush green ,

Eyes of chlorophyll I do see,

For every word that was not uttered,

Sealed in a daze I did rest,

For every memory you left unkempt,

I did not fail to neglect,

For life's verdure emulates the very hue of green you call eyes,

And the momentum of a fickle heart depends on the density of your lies,

You are love in its intrinsic nature,

For every memory unbroken,

For every sentence woven,

For every sentiment unspoken.

Green eyes.
