"Did you and your friends have fun last night?" Mom asks.

I nod my head, grinning.

"Erick's such a sweet boy. You should invite him over more often." She says.

How has Erick managed to convince my parents that he's an absolute angel?

"We're going surfing later today." I inform her.

"Oh, that's nice. Is it just going to be the two of you?" She asks, while filing sheets.

I nod my head.

"Do you have a cute swimsuit to wear?" She asks.

"I have a black one piece suit. I wore that last week." I tell her.

She looks at me hopelessly.

"What? Why does it matter?" I ask, confused.

"Because, you have to look cute for him!" She says, as though it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"Why?" I ask again, still confused.

"Jesy, you ask too many questions sometimes. Come here." She says.

She gets up and heads upstairs to her room, so I follow her.

"I saw your swimsuit last time, and don't worry, I have something even cuter." She says and pulls out a simple red bikini.

"What's this?" I ask, confused.

"For you. I always knew you never owned a bikini and so the other day after work, this one caught my eye for some reason and I knew it spelled 'Jesy'." She says.

"Mom, do you seriously expect me to wear this?" I ask.

She nods her head.

"Come on, you've got a great body, learn to love it." She says.

I sigh, knowing she's right.

Erick comes to pick me up at 5 p.m.

"Want to stop for a movie, after?" Erick asks, as we drive to his beach.

I learned that it was a private beach that once belonged to Erick's Dad. That explains why it's so special to him.

The beach now belongs to Erick and his family, of course.

"What movie are we watching?" I ask.

"Up to you." He says.

"Let's watch something funny, then." I say.

"Done. I'll order the tickets." He says, grinning.

I smile back.

Once we reach, we grab our surfboards and head to the shore.

Erick told me that Chad wouldn't be joining us today because he took the day off.

I was okay with that.

Since I'm wearing my swimsuit underneath, I strip down.

I immediately feel shy and exposed, so I hug the towel around me.

I'm usually a very confident person, but if there's one thing I'm insecure of, it's my body.

Erick walks over to me.

"You can remove the towel you know, we're going to get wet anyway." He says.

He's already in his swimming trunks, exposing his abs and tanned body.

He looks hot as hell.

"Jess, what's wrong?" He asks.

I slowly unwrap the towel and display my bikini.
