I love this man so much, and I really hope we get more of him in Mando S3🥰 This is a sequel to "Respect,"

Warnings: Mentions of "Legends" lore, Mandalorians being mean to other Mandalorians, Axe doesn't tolerate people looking down on his girl, fighting, Dom/Sub relationship, Daddy kink, Marriage proposals (Mandalorian Style.)

Axe Woves was never someone that got nervous or even slightly anxious. But when he did, he was a mess.

"Do you think she'll like it?" He rambled, pacing outside the forge. Koska chuckled, though not maliciously, watching her battle-brother walk about anxiously.

"Axe, I'm sure she'll love it. Now come sit down, you're too nervous." she grabbed his wrist when he passed and yanked him over to the crates where she was sitting.

"You're right" Axe grumbled, sighing, "I just want to show her how serious I am, that I'm not going to leave her." He looked over at the door to the forge once again, his impatience getting the better of him.

"Of course I'm right," she smirked, "that girl is smitten for you, Woves. You've shown Y/n time and time again that you are going to stick with her, I think she realizes how serious you are about her." Axe softly smiled at her words of reassurance. Koska could be blunt, but she knew just the right words to comfort people when they needed it. She was right. You would love it.

A group of Mandalorians walked past, most of them with expensive, 100% beskar armor and the finest weapons, likely going to train in the gymnasium.

"Oh, look! It's Koska an Axe!"

"Wow, Woves sure is a dreamboat."

"Shame he's saddled with that wench from House Mereel though."

"Why does Lady Kryze even let that thing hang around?"

"Especially after what she said–"

"She's not even a real Mandalorian anyway,"

"Imagine being proud of your family's traitorous past..."

"Mereel's Mandalorians..."

"It's a wonder he hasn't left her for brandishing the Journeyman's symbol like it's some badge of honor..."

"He could do so much better..."

Axe doesn't even remember throwing the first punch. He just remembers seeing red. His memory blanked until he felt Koska holding him back.

Upper-Class Mandalorians, he seethed internally. Those snobs were some of his least favorite people in the resistance.

"Never," Axe growled, "talk about her like that while I am in earshot."

They nodded, wide-eyed in fear, some slightly bruised. They scampered off like wounded womp-rats to the gym, and Koska scoffed. "hut'unns," she turned to Axe, looking at him sympathetically, "I would've let you break them into a pulp, but Bo-Katan wouldn't want her people getting too roughed up."

Axe scoffed, but nodded nonetheless. She nodded in return; it was the only thanks she needed. Suddenly, one of the armorers exited the forge, holding an ornate bag.

"Axe Woves of Clan Woves," they addressed him, "your courting gift is complete. Your own pauldron should be done in a few hours."

Axe rushed over, paying the Armorer and thanking her profusely. Koska sauntered over, grinning as the Armorer returned to the Forge. "Lemme see it, Woves," she pestered him as he gently unwrapped the cloth. A pauldron of beskar from his own armor with two signets molded to its side; The signet of Clan Woves, and the signet of your family, in House Mereel. Though Axe hoped you would formally join Clan Woves, he knew how much your heritage meant to you. So, if you wanted to join his clan, he would join yours.
