Asami's POV:
"Yea, ok, .... ok, Mhm, yep, sure I'll think about it, yep, thanks varrick, and oh, wait!, tell them that I'm so very sorry that happened to them,yep, thanks bye" well, I wonder what that was about "sorry Asami, that was important, I had to take it" I'm sitting across from him eating my meatloaf, he began eating but with a strange look "it's fine, .... sooo what are you going to think about?" He looked up with that look everybody has when they didn't hear a word you said "Huh?, what?, *sigh* I'm sorry, I've just been busy and tired lately, what was that?" He's been working later than usual, so many contracts and budgets and business
"Um, what were you talking to varrick about?" He just sighed and took a bite of his food "well, we were talking about business stuff but then he mentioned that a group that his good friend is in was being sponsored by cabbage Corp, but they recently stopped sponsoring them cause that had different perspectives on things, so varrick told his friend about me and they asked if I would sponsor them"
He just took another bite of his food and sat there "and?, what do you think?, I mean, I see no problem in sponsoring them and even though your busy, this will help with the contracts, it will attract more people into your company and are probably looking for hire, which means more people to do some of the work you've been filling in for the short staff, I say go for it" we sat in a short while long silence, he had his thinking cap on "You know what, your right, I guess I'll call varrick back in the morning and tell him the good news, thanks Asami"
After dinner I went up to my room, I got bored quickly, yah know, I wonder why cabbage Corp stopped sponsoring that group?, what made them stop sponsoring them?, what kind of perspective did they have and on what situations? and will this happen to us if we sponsor them?, who knows, I plopped on my bed and started texting in the group chat with Jinorah and opal, and sometimes you just need to take a risk, and hey, you may never know, something good might come out of it
