"Baby are you ready?" I ask my seven month pregnant girlfriend
"Not so much, jayje come and help me I'm stuck in this" she tells me as I enter our bedroom
"What do you me..Oh god don't, don't you move, you are going to break it!" I tell her as I help her out of it
"Why don't you put on the things that I bought you last week" I tell her as I lay on the bed one of the friendly dress for mom's to be that I recently purchased
"Because I want to wear this dress but it does not fit" she mutters angrily
"Baby, um with your figure now the red dress is not going to fit very well" I says
"That's because this thing is making me fat" she states looking at her grown belly in front of me mirrow
"Are you having second thoughts about it, because we can't re-do it now, this kid has taken a liking to me" I say we notice our child giving kicks on her belly
"No, I just wish that it would behave more often" she says as the kicks stop
"It know what you want" I point it out
"Yeah, tell me the same thing yesterday when I couldn't fall asleep" she says as I give her a quick hug
"This is not fair you know, you are as hot as always while I'm here without putting my favourite dress on" she repeats
"Nobody is going to comment on your looks Em" I assure her
"But the clothes are just so ugly" she admits
"I thought that you liked them?" I inquire as she was quite happy about them when I saw her the clothes I got her
"I may have lied" she admits putting them on
"And why did you do that?" I ask her as I put her the shoes she likes
"Because I didn't want to hurt your taste of style" she jokes
"Well for other time you can break that wherever you want" I say giving her a quick peck
"Are you ready now?" I ask her as we are already behind our schedule
"Yes, did you pick the gender reveal cake?" She inquires as we don't know yet what she is carring
"Um I believe that Morgan was taking care of that" I tell her
"Really you let Derek go to pick it up" she says
"Um yeah..he voluntered" I reply as we shut the door and go walking towards Rossi's house
"Hello, welcome, dinner is almost ready" Reid says as he opens the door
"Well, I'll help, just tell me what is left and I'll do it" Emily exclaims enthusiastic
"You want to cook baby?" I ask her, she has never wanted to go near a kitchen in all the years I have known her
"Yeah that way I can make something for the party" she explains as we have arrived to the living room
All of us look at each other
"No no don't look at me" Rossi mutters
"Its your house Rossi" I reply
"And what she is 7 months pregant" he hisses
"What guys something you want to tell me?" Emily inquires coming around
"Baby you know I love you a lot" I say
"Yeah carry on" she tells me
"But you don't know how to cook, plus you are the one the party is going to make for" I state as her expression changes
"I want to learn before the baby is born" She mutters sadly
"You can learn, I can help you that darling, we all can, but this party is for you to relax and finally know what our child is going to be" I explain her as I grab her hands
"But you don't get to lose your patience when I'm clumsy" she tells me
"Deal, now let's go to the garden, everyone is waiting for us" I tell her as we go hand by hand
"Finally, the cake is going to melt if you both arrive later" Garcia complains as we look around and see all the decorations that the team has put on
"Has anyone grabbed a knife for the cake?" Dave asks
'Sean is going to get the knifes out now'
"Jayje" Emily calls for me breaking the memory apart
I still have flashbacks back to that day, although we both have been cleared by a therapist, those thoughts are going to be part of me forever
"Yeah?" I inquire as I lost the track of the conversation
"Do you want to be the one who cuts it?" Emily says grabbing the knife and pointing to the white small cake that is on one of Rossi's gardens table
"No, let's do it together" I state as I grab her hand
"Let me remind you that I would have preferred to know the sex of our child when doctor Robbins offered to said it" I remind her as we get close to the table
"I know but this is way more emotional than only finding out you and I in an hospital room isn't it?" She inquires as I look around, at the team, each one with a glass on them and waiting impatiently for us to cut it
"It had to be, either way I could have sent you out while doctor Robbins showed me the gender" I tease her as it's something I almost do in that appointment
"I thought that we promised after that day that we were going to take every decision for now on together, like a family" she tells me
"And that's what we are going tonight" I remind her as she thanked me in the car when I declined the offer to see myself the sex of the baby
"Come on guys!" Derek shouts as we have been standing in front of the cake for some minutes now
"Are you ready to know?" She teases me
"I have been waiting months for this" I reply as we open the cake and the interior of it reveals to be blue
"ITS A BOY" Emily shouts as all the team cheers and we hug
"We should start deciding names now for our little prince" I tell her after kissing her slowly on her lips
"I have some in mind" she replies when we pull apart to let each other of the team hug us
