My prompt was to make a cover for a book about Queen Victoria's Journal and the title given was Withering Blooms. This is actually really interesting, because Queen Victoria actually kept a journal, so yeah I thought it was cool.
I tried to tie in the old and ancient look with modern scrapbooking so it would look like someone discovered the book in their attic and 'renovated it'. So that's kind of what I thought the story arc would be: Girl moves into new house, decides to clean out attic, finds Queen Victoria's Journal, mordernizes it and discovers a historical mystery to solve and/or falls asleep reading it and wakes up in the Victorian era.
This is actually pretty average, but like I said, graphic designing is just a nice distraction, and I made this for fun.
