YOU AND NAI were chilling in her bedroom, music playing softly from the speaker while she edited her youtube video. you were bored out of your mind, scrolling on your phone seeming like a task rather than a way to entertain yourself. you could tell nai was getting frustrated with editing, soft curses spilling from her lips every few minutes.
it was only when she groaned loudly that you finally managed to get the courage to speak up.
"take a break, nai. you're torturing yourself." you leaned onto her shoulder, kissing the skin softly when she took a deep breath.
"i gotta get this video out, i'm already super late on my schedule." nai continued to cut and edit clips while you played with her hair.
"your fans will understand if you're late, babe. just take a 5 minute break. get some water." you consulted your girlfriend.
she nodded after a moment, taking her laptop off the top of her thighs and standing up to stretch.
"you wanna go get lunch?" she asked, noticing your staring, trying her hardest not to tease you.
"uh-" you cleared your throat. "yeah, what do you want?"
"whatever you want, love." she crawled towards you, placing a soft, sweet kiss to your lips. "love you."
