Connor's voice welcomed us, narinig ko naman agad ang mga irit ni Raya at Della.
"It's so nice to see them playing again," Raya said as we walked towards our table and made ourselves comfortable.
"And how nice of Finn to reserve us a table near the stage. Buti na lang at di seloso yon at supportive," Malayah laughed.
"Drinks? Before we fully indulge ourselves to the music and musicians?" I giggled and they nodded enthusiastically.
I combed the end of my hair and fixed my dress before advancing to the bar. When I got near the bar, nakahalumbaba si Finnegan at deretsong nakatingin sa akin with a sweet smile on his face.
"Already waiting for me?" I playfully asked fixed his hair.
"18 minutes to be exact," He laughed and stood up straight.
"Nako ma'am, ako yung nangangawit para kay Sir Finn. Kanina pa siya nakahalumbaba habang nakatingin sa table nyo," The bartender butted in while wiping the counter top.
"Don't take a hit, don't kiss my lips. And please don't drink more beer,"
"Get back to work, Lewis." Finnegan sneered, napakamot naman sa batok yung bartender. Hinarap ulit ako ni Finn na may ngiti sa labi. "What can I get you, baby?" Despite the loud music, I still clearly heard the softness of his voice.
I heard some gasps and defeated sighs from the other girls here. Kahit yung may mga kasama ng guy, mukhang na kay Finnegan ang atensyon. Sorry ladies, but he's already committed to me.
"Manhattan, please." I told him and sat at the available stool. "I'll watch you do it."
He nodded and got what he needed and placed it all in front of me. "Why don't you watch the band?"
"Do you want me to?" I asked him back and raised my brow.
He chuckled and shook his head, "No, I want all your attention on me."
I watched him add the rye, sweet vermouth and both bitters into a mixing glass with ice and he stirred it until it was well-chilled, i guess. He strained it with a chilled coupe and garnished it with cherries.
"Imma crawl outta the window now. 'Cause I don't like anyone around. Kinda hope you're following me out. But this is definitely not my crowd,"
I was going to glance at the stage but I heard Finnegan's scoff. "Do you want me to?" He mimicked.
"Finnegan! I just wanna see for a second, busy ka pa din naman," I pouted.
He laughed hysterically, "I'm kidding, baby. Go and watch, hatid ko na lang yung drinks nyo don."
I nodded like a kid making him chuckle again.
"Nineteen but you act twenty-five now
Knees weak, but you talk pretty proud, wow," Connor sang. I was smiling widely cause I'm such a big fan of Conan and his songs. So Incendiary, the band I like, playing a song of a artist that I like.
"Kita nyo yang ngiting yan ni Layne? Oorder daw ng drinks, pagbalik, ngiting wagas ang dala, gago." Ansley laughed and pointed my face.
Tinabig ko yung daliri niyang nasa mukha ko at umupo sa tabi ni Della, "Gaga, kanta kasi ni Conan yang kinakanta nila. Alam nyo namang Conan fan ako."
"Ripped jeans and a cup that you just downed. Take me where the music ain't too loud,"
"Take me away, Connor!!" Raya shouted earning laughs from the other people. Incendiary glanced at us as well, ang lapit kasi nung table kaya pakinig talaga nila yon.
Silas chuckled and Connor got a little distracted, chuckling as well na pakinig na pakinig sa mic pero di yon nagpasira sa pagkanta nya. His chuckle was so cute that it made the song a whole lot better.
"Trade drinks, but you don't even know her.

Wilder and Waylon are the serious one kaya ng makita kong may maliit na ngiti na sumilay sa kanilang mga labi ay napailing na lang ako sa kagagahan ng kaibigan ko.
"My baby," I felt someone kiss the side of my head, placing our tray at the table.
I looked at Finnegan and a smile is plastered on his face, as usual.
