32 | Humiliated

hey guys! i realise i have this and another chapter  that i have wrote but haven't publish yet, so i'm gonna post this and another one and so sorry for the 7-8 months. i just didn't know what to write for this alr but i'm rlly sorry and i'll probably start a new book, don't know when. Really sorry but thank you everybody who have been with me from the start and i'm afraid this will be the end to the book plus 2 other chapter. but it will still be ongoing.

Reuben's POV

Immediately right after school , I hopped on my motorbike and drove to the nearby alley.

This will be the time , I'll ask for her forgiveness and give her the bags of snacks.

I u-turned to the alley where I hopped off and looked at my watch and it's 13:59 , thank god I'm just in time. I looked around but she was nowhere to be seen , maybe she's just busy.

I brushed off that thought and just stood next to my motorbike , leaning against it. I constantly looked over at my watch and it's already 14:10 , did she forget about it ??

Or does she not want to forgive me ??

Flustered , I started spamming messages.

Reuben : 'I'm here already' 'Where are you' 'I don't see you' 'I'm sorry'

But she didn't reply.

I decided to just stay there until she comes , if she comes. I will not let any hope down because I know she will come but just not now yet.

It's been 30 minutes but she still hasn't come. Now I can feel my hope starting to drain away. I messed it up.

I hear a motorbike engine stop , that must be her for sure. I peered up to see Iris with her helmet in between her arms , walking towards me.

I'm glad she's finally here. I composed myself , standing up straight tall with the bag behind me as I try not to show any sense of nervousness.

"Looks like you came early , not bad" she eyed me and noticed the bag behind me.

I cleared my throat "I would like to say I'm really sorry for what I did and I didn't mean to do it. It's my fault for not looking at the situation closer and I hope you can forgive me and hopefully we can start anew. I bought for you some snacks that hopefully is able to compensate but I know it's not enough but I will do anything for your forgiveness" taking out the bag from behind and handing it to her with two hands while looking down.

"If you want my forgiveness , it's simple. Just vow that you won't touch me again , and give me your motorbike." she spoked.

"Is that it ?" I'm shook that it's really simple as I have many motorbikes and I can give as many as she wants and I will vow that I won't touch her but is her conditions really that easy ?

"Well , about there"

What does she mean by that ?

I didn't have the time to register when I inhaled a powder and soon I had no control of my body when it fell down to the floor where everything slowly disappeared from my sight.

A cold feeling shocked entirely on my face , my body immediately jerked to the feeling and I gasped for air to breathe.

My eyes immediately opened up but I quickly regret it when the bright sunlight shone brightly in my eye.

I tried to move but I couldn't , I tried again but I realize I couldn't.

I looked around and realize I'm tied to a tree right near the area where it will be the most crowded right after 15:00.

My hands and legs are tied down and I looked up to see Iris with a smirk on her face.

"Looks like you're awake" she smirked walking around the tree.

"What did you do" I questioned with my raspy dry voice, "Of course I'm sleeping , no shit I tied you up to a tree" that phrase struck a memory in my head. I know I heard it somewhere but I don't remember it.

*it's when Iris was caught by Reuben when she shot Roger and he questioned her the same question and she replied the same way.

"Do you want to have a look on what you look like ?" I shook my head.

"Here you go" she took a picture and showed me and I saw a paper with the words 'I'm pregnant with tree - plets and the tree is my husband and we're in love' 1 point for the pun , I mean at least that's funny but she really make me look like a psycho.

Loving the tree ?

I could feel the embarrassment slowly piling up as very soon many people will be seeing me in this state.

"Can you help to untie this please" tilting my head pointing to my arms.

"No , you say you will do anything"

"Yes but not this"

"No means no" she says before turning away and walked back.

She turned back to me and said "I forgive you" before walking away out of my view.

I am left stranded tied to a tree with a paper on my chest. This is going to be over for me. But it doesn't matter , all it matters is that she finally forgive me so this is worth it anyway.

It's been 20 minutes already from what I am counting in my head and I can see people walking by and giving me weird stares.

Some stopped and took pictures.

God I just want to hide now.

Soon , a whole pack of people came and it became crowds. I can't deal with this. I catch a glimpse of my gang people walking down and shouted "ADAM HELPED ME" he turned to the direction of my voice where he and I made eye contact for a split 5 seconds before he started running to me.

"Who did this to you ?"

"Later" I cut him off with one words "Help untie me" he began untying me and soon I dropped to the floor as my body has no more strength to move after being tied there for long.

"Are you okay ?" he questioned with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah , I'm SO fine" I picked myself up and staggered towards a car that Adam had pulled.

"That was funny , like I really love that pun , did you do it yourself ?"

"Well of course , I would hang myself on a tree in the middle of the crowd and stick a paper on me dedicating my love towards the tree. That totally makes so much sense , am I right ?" rolling my eyes.

"But who did it though ?" questioned Adam.

"No one" I responded as I entered the car with my drenching wet clothes from head to toe.

I could sense Adams' eyebrows scrunching but I do not need to tell Adam what happened as I was practically in the wrong in judging it. And it will probably be embarrassing knowing that a girl did this to me , the leader of the viper gang , the most ruthless one.
