After Ryan left we made are way into the house, me trudging behind disapinted he had left.
'Have a seat sweetie, we'll wait 5 minuets and if Ryan is not down by then I'll call him.' His mom said. I great fully smiled and sat down on the rather empty couch, opposite to the one all the parents were sat down on.
5 minuets had passed by in an comfortable silence with the occasional small talk between my mum and Ryan's .
' Ryan!' Mom finally called and he arose from the top of the stairs.
I immediately dropped my gaze back down to my boots waiting for him to come down. Even though I was turned around, I could feel his gaze apom my back. I soon felt the couch dip beside me and turned to see him sitting extremely close to me. Shuffling away silently I looked up at my mom for answers.
' April.' She started ' As you may know, tommorow is your 18th birthday, the age where you become a woman!' I blushed and laughed embarrassed. ' But, in our family this also means that at the stroke of 12:00 something will happen.' She said with a hushed voice. 'You change into your wolf...'
'What?'
