I seemed to have found
An Inner dimension
Within myself
Who is kinder than me
And stronger than me
One who is more capable
And more beautiful than
Me
I seemed to have found
An Inner dimension
Within myself
One who meaner than me
And weaker than me
One who screams and curses
And uglier than
Me
But I have found something
Interesting along those lines
About all of those dimensions
Of mine
I've found that everyone has
Dimensions that people pick sides
Of
It tears them apart
Because they pull at each other
Pulling us like a tug-a-war rope
And sometimes beauty wins
And other times the ugly
And the last line I've said
Is what scares me the most...
If the world strives for beauty
And love and life
Why does turn and listen
To the uglier side?
