AN: This is basically a crack fic, so enjoy!

Peter wasn't having the best day. It was one of those days when he wondered whether he was actually doing any good or not. He could feel himself slowly slipping down a spiral, and he wasn't sure whether he wanted to make the effort to try and pull himself out. His brain was constantly analysing every fight that had gone wrong, every stab wound he got, every bullet graze. And newspapers like the Daily Bungle didn't help matters.

* Meanwhile on Twitter *

@stanning_spidey: The Avengers might save the day but Spider-Man saved my day when he stopped me from getting mugged. #SpideySavedMyDay

@theofficialspiderstan: Spider-Man talked to me on a low day and convinced me to step away from the edge and that there are people that care about me. #SpideySavedMyDay

@updates_on_spidey: Spider-Man rescued my cat from a tree when she climbed too high and got too scared to come down. Thanks to you Coco is safe at home chasing a laser pointer. #SpideySavedMyDay

@heather_07: Spider-Man helped me find my kids after a fire brought down our entire apartment block. They were safe and unharmed thanks to you. #SpideySavedMyDay

@sophie_ella: Spider-Man walked me home one night when it was super dark and I was scared to walk home alone. #SpideySavedMyDay

@rainbowjosh: Spider-Man saved me from getting run over and probably killed when he used his webs to stop an out of control car going at over 90 mph heading straight towards me. #SpideySavedMyDay

@imthepeacesignbi: Spider-Man stopped a creepy older man getting too hands on whilst I was trying to get home. #SpideySavedMyDay

@glittergracie: Spiderman saw that I was having a panic attack (how, I'm still not sure) and calmed me down. He even taught me some techniques on how to calm myself down in the future. #SpideySavedMyDay

Peter smiled as he scrolled through the hashtag. Ned had called him 10 minutes ago, freaking out over the fact that Peter, well Spiderman really, was trending. Peter hadn't looked at his phone all day, in fact he hadn't even gotten out of bed. If May was home, he probably would have been dragged out of bed a long time ago, but she was on a 16 hour shift at the hospital, and wouldn't be home for at least another 7 hours.

As the trend got more and more popular, Peter could feel a warm feeling take over. Maybe he was making a difference. Maybe he was helping Queens in his own way.

As Peter was scrolling through, a tweet caught his eye.

@youknowwhoiam (verified) : Spidey lights up the room as soon as he walks in. Even though I don't understand half of what you say, with those memes and vines you love so much, you bring a smile to my face every time. #SpideySavedMyDay
