"Why are you here you should be resting," Kara asked looking at M's wounds
"I'm fine you're not you got hurt," M said
"no, I'm not" Kara replied
"don't lie to me," M said grabbing Kara's ran showing the scratch on her shoulder "I gotta keep you alive you know," M continued
"must complete the mission," a voice said as a gargoyle was still alive blasting one more beam at Kara
"I'm gonna get killed," M thought jumping in front of Kara and wrapping one of his arms around her and putting the other hand toward the blast "I can't make another portal with my wounds and what I just did," he thought freezing up before launching an air blade splitting the beam
"M I would've been fine," Kara said
"I got to keep you safe," M repeated himself letting Kara go feeling his body getting hotter "the over usage is kicking in," he thought in fear "come on let's go," he said reaching out his hand
"I can do it on my own" Kara said covering her body in lightning jetting off M following as they landed and walked in
"your answer is even less likely than earlier," Tom said to Kara
"yeah yeah M get more sleep," Kara said going into the backyard covering her hands and feet in lightning feeling heat from the crystal she decided to check on him walking into him panting heavily
"Kara," he said as she walked closer putting her hand on his forehead
"Why are you so hot right now," she asked
" I overused my abilities before they were ready with my wounds"
"The new ability,' Kara asked
"not new teleportation stage 2' M said slowly between pants
"imma get you a rag," Kara said turning around anf=d walking away
"No," M said pulling Kara back
