Noon - Asano high - Music room
Ren POV
"Alright, right now we have piano lesson. Can someone play this piano to give your friends example?" Music teacher with round glass on his face, Kitagawa Homura asked his students. It's looks like he quiet strict person that's why many students stay silent when it's time for him lesson
"Me sir!" Akito raise his hand
"Alright, Yukihara-san please come forward and play this score. For everyone, please watch him" After Kitagawa-sensei ordered him to come forward, he stop at my desk for a second
"Just watch this, Yamada" he said arrogantly and then start to play piano while I just raise my eyebrows and then I listen his play while it's not too bad and maybe he on professional level but sometime he slip his tempo.
"Thank you, Yukihara-san. You can go to your desk" Kitagawa-sensei said with unsastified face and Akito back to her desk while smiled arrogantly "It looks like I win on this corner Yamada" I raise my eyebrows because I don't know why he said that.
"Alright, is there anyone feel like he can play better than Yukihara-san?" Kitagawa-sensei scan his student one by one then he gaze stop at me "Yamada-san, please come forward"
"But-" I try to reject it
"No but but, I know you can play it please come forward"
How can he knew I can play piano? Well whatever I just play it for fun anyway. I come forward and start to play the piano. I decide to play La Campanella by Liszt
"Give applause to Yamada-san" they all give me applause "You all good at playing piano but the one is better is Yamada-san play. For you Yukihara-san, you are too arrogant and you slip your note a lot" Kitagawa-sensei scold Akito
"Tch, I lost again..." Akito gritted his teeth while I just look at them with no expression
*Ring* The bell ringing, it's time to go home. Other student already packed their bag include me but Kitagawa-sensei approach me
"Yamada-san, please come to my faculty office I'll be waiting. Then, see you" He immediately leave before I reply him. It looks like I have to message Marina-san if I have something at school
Afternoon - Asano high - Faculty office
"Excuse me" I slid the door and enter the room then close it again. I looked around to find Kitagawa-sensei. I found him at his desk write some journal "Good afternoon, Kitagawa-sensei" I slightly bowed and he just nodded
"Did you curious why I know you can play piano?" he stop his write activity and turned his gaze to me while I slowly nod "Actually, I am one of jury at music competition. I saw you join this music competition and always win first place. Can you explain why you stop?"
"It's nothing, I just don't have any passion that's all. There are many people who have music talent than me" I said while fiddle my bangs. What I said it's true, I don't really have any talents when it's come to music. Even, my music teacher back then said my play is too boring or my music is not life that's why I decide to stop playing it for competition.
"I see, well it's not entirely true. You have better potential but since you lost your passion, you let your talent rusty. Maybe, if you can find reasons for playing it again I am sure you will become number one" he said confidently while I just shrugged it off since I don't how and when I can find my reasons to play it again "Right, did you know I am a student council advisor too right?" He asked me, why suddenly he mention this? I have a bad feeling
