Morning - Edogawa Music
Today is weekend but Ren still have a shift at CiRCLE and right now he buy some wire and a few items for CiRCLE that Marina order to him.
"Welcome!" The seller said with full energy and Ren just replied it with nod and start to look around to find what Marina order
"Guitar string..." Ren pick the guitar string "and bass string...I think it's on there" Before Ren pick the bass string, his hand bump into other hand who don't belong to him. He look at the person who have that hand
"Ren-san?" The tall girl with smooth dark-brown hair reaching her top back with no fringe and lightning blue eyes look at Ren with surprise expression while Ren still process and remember who that girl
"Ah, I think you forget about me. I am Wakana Rei. We meet when you have came to my music school to teach to other kids at piano course"
Then it hit Ren when Rei introduce herself to Ren "Oh, Rei. I am sorry because I don't remember you" Ren give her a little smile
"It's okay Ren-san, We only met a few times but what happen when we first meet I won't forget it" Rei said with smile
Flashback on
Rei crying on the park while sit down at one of swing after music class ended "...I really miss you Tae-chan" the girl crying nonstop
"Hey, you are crying!" Two boys approach her and Rei looked down
"Baka (stupid) Shinji, you shouldn't shout like that to her"
"Really? Hehe I am sorry Ren" Shinji said with apologetic smile
"Shinji!" Shinji's mother already call him from far with her car behind her
"Come on Ren, your mother said to my mom to pick you too" Shinji grab Ren hand but Ren refuse and shake his head
"I will stay her for a minutes, you can go home first" Ren said and Shinji tilt his head
"Hmmm?? Okay!" Shinji said and run to his mother to go home. In that park only Ren and Rei left so Ren decide to sit at the empty swing beside Rei
"Here" Ren give Rei his handkerchief and Rei accept it
"T-thank you..."
"I am sorry what my friend did just now. By the way, are you okay? Maybe you can tell me, well if you ready to share it with me though..." Ren said while fiddle his bangs
Rei start to tell Ren she just bully by some kids at vocal course and not just that she also miss her friend who name Tae
"I am sorry you have to listening my nonsense..." Rei said while looked down
"Can I heard your sing?" Ren asked
"Huh? But my voice it's not suitable for sing and-"
"Just let me listen to it" Ren said with reassure smile
"Okay..." Rei start to sing and that struck Ren very hard because Rei really have a good voice, different from what she told him
"You have a great voice" Ren said with smile and make Rei blush
"R-really?"
"Hm!" Ren nodded "Don't heard what they said, just become yourself" Ren said while fiddle his bangs
Rei silent for a moment then she smile "Yes!" Rei smiled
Flashback off
"That time, I would never forget what you said to me. Because of you I can keep my promise to my best friend Tae-chan to play as band together" Rei said
"I am glad you still remember my word. You really are become mature Rei" Ren said with awkward smile while rub his neck
"Ren-san...I already hear what happen to Shinji-san" Rei said with little sad tone on her voice and Ren just shake his head
"It's okay. Anyway, let's catch up what happen to you when I don't come to music school again" Ren try to change the topic
"Okay" Rei said and they end up to Hazawa Coffee
Afternoon - Hazawa Coffee
"Welcome-oh Ren-san!" Eve greet Ren
"Hello" Ren said shortly "Hm? Tsugumi don't work today?"
"Tsugumi-san have a rehearsal with Afterglow so she doesn't work today." Ren nod for understanding and sit with Rei at one of seat they have. Ren decide to order black expresso while Rei red ginger tea
"Ginger tea?" Ren asked
"Oh, I need to keep my throat on very good condition because I become a vocalist on my band right now" Rei tell Ren right now she already recruit by someone call Chu2 into band
"Chu2? What a weird name..." Ren said after sip his drink
"Well, her real name is Tamade Chiyu. She is quiet talented on music I do say" Rei said and make Ren stop his activity
"Did you say Tamade Chiyu?" Ren asked with serious face for making sure what he heard right
"Yes, did something wrong Ren-san?" Rei ask
"...nothing" Ren sip his coffee but with no expression on his face that make Rei worried
Time skip...
After a few story they tell each other, they out from Hazawa Coffee
"Thank you Ren-san for treat me to this cafe" Rei said with little bow
"You're welcome, It's nice to see you again Rei" Ren said that and make Rei blush but before Rei said something someone call her
"Sorry, Ren-san. I have to go to practice with my band"
"...with that Chiyu right?" Ren ask with quiet cold tone on his voice
"Yes...you are acting weird right now when I mention about Chu2, is she someone you know Ren-san?"
"...no" Ren said shortly "Anyway, you have to go"
"O-oh right. See you Ren-san" Rei said with smile and walk away while Ren waved his hand to Rei
"Chiyu huh..." Ren rub his neck "It's look like I need to keep my eyes to Rei but for now I have to focus on my piano contest. I only have one week left to prepare my piano contest" Ren said before walk away to CiRCLE
