I walked into The Coterie.
"Hey, Callie." Davia greeted.
"Hey."
I headed to loft 14.
I pushed open the door.
Mariana was in here, crying.
I sat next to her.
I pulled Mariana into my arms.
She was breaking down.
I stroked her back.
"It's gonna be alright."
"I'm so happy you're happy with Jamie."
"Me too."
Isabella walked in.
I stood up.
"Juvie's hardened her. She's not so sweet." Mariana told her.
"I do not react kindly to people who hurt my family."
"You're adopted. The both of you."
"You want to see Sisters? Really? Or you want to see twins? I can surely get my biological siblings here. I can get her biological twin brother here."
"Don't get Jesus here. He's just gonna cause problems."
"No. He should do something about it."
"Do you recall what happened the last time he got in a fight over me?"
"He's fine."
I was calling Sophia.
Robert
Sophia was getting a call.
"It's Callie. I have to--"
"Of course."
She answered it.
"Hey. What's up?"
"Can you come to LA?"
"Why?"
"Oh. Mariana's roommate wants to see what biological siblings look like. Jude is busy with school."
"Yeah. I'll be down there soon."
"Plus I want you to meet somebody."
"Are you already dating somebody?"
"Maybe."
"Alright. I'll see you soon."
"Bye. Love you."
"Love you too."
Callie hung up.
"I have to--"
"Yeah."
"Callie is probably gonna have me stay the night."
"Be safe driving."
"I will. Don't tell Mom I'm with Callie. She doesn't tend to like it when I'm with her. It's weird since Callie is your daughter."
"I know."
Sophia walked out, grabbing her keys.
She pulled out of the driveway.
Jesus
I was getting a call.
It was Callie.
I answered it, walking away from Gabe.
"Hey. What's up?"
"Can you come down to LA?"
"Why?"
"Mariana's roommate wants to insult our adoptions. Show her what twins look like."
"Yeah. Of course."
"Alright. I'll see you soon."
"Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up.
"I've got to go."
"Okay."
I left, driving off to LA.
Sophia
I pulled into The Coterie's parking lot.
Jesus stepped out of his truck as I got out of my car.
We walked into The Coterie with Jesus leading me to the right floor.
Callie
Sophia and Jesus walked in.
Jude walked in behind them.
Sophia and Jude stood beside me.
Jesus stood beside Mariana, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
"Isabella slept with Mariana's boyfriend."
"Ouch." Sophia commented.
"Alright. I have somebody for you to meet."
"Okay."
"See you tomorrow, Mariana."
"Bye!"
I left.
I drove to the apartment building with Sophia behind me.
I pulled in the parking spot next to Jamie.
Sophia backed into the parking spot next to me.
We walked into the building.

Callie walked in with a girl that looks like a mini her.
"Jamie, this is my Sister, Sophia. Sophia, this is my boyfriend, Jamie."
"I've heard a lot about you, Sophia. I didn't expect you to look so much like your Sister."
"Showing Isabella what twins and biological siblings look like. Pointed out the fact that Jesus, Mariana, Jude, and me are adopted."
"Bitch." Sophia cursed.
"I can clearly see aspects in your personalty that are like Callie's."
"You can spend the night at The Coterie with Mariana. She wants to get to know you better."
"I think I know your Sister better than you, Callie."
"That is my own fault. I'm still very angry."
"That was six years ago."
"Moms and my Dad were in a huge Custody battle. He signed away his parental rights when he found out I was gonna get emancipated. Didn't want me to become an adult too soon. Wanted me to live out being a teenager."
"You haven't seen Dad in forever."
"Well, you tell him I will come up for Dinner soon. And maybe Jamie will be joining me."
"Okay."
Callie and Sophia hugged.
She left.
We both laughed.
