"I'm trying not to worry because our Wedding is tomorrow. And right now, my Bridesmaid and I are going to the nail salon before our Wedding rehearsal."
Eliza, Emma, Mariana, Sophia, and me got out of my car.
We headed into Diamond Nails.
"Hello." One of the manicurists greeted.
"Hello." A second one greeted.
We sat down in the chairs.
"Man, I like this Wedding. It's making me even prettier." Mariana commented.
"What are you doing on yours?" Emma questioned.
"I might do the white tip with a purple line."
"How short do you want, honey?"
"Um, not too short. Cause I'm getting married tomorrow."
"Are you ready?"
"I'm nervous now. Like, I'm just now starting to get nervous."
I chuckled.
"Do you think you'll get any sleep tonight?" Emma inquired.
"Would you get any sleep?"
"Probably not."
"When you guys are holding hands up at the altar, your hands are gonna be extremely sweaty. They're gonna, like, drip sweat." Eliza informed me.
"Oh!"
I shook my head.
"You guys are even making me more nervous."
Eliza, Emma, Mariana, and Sophia laughed.
"I'm excited but I'm nervous. I mean, I'm just nervous. Like, I'm trying to think of it as not a big deal, but it is a big deal. You know what I'm saying?"
"Yeah." Eliza replied.
"I'm just trying to think of it as it's not, so that way, I can get my nerves to calm down. I'm like, "It's not a big deal. It's just a Wedding." But in the back of my head, I'm like, "No. This is a big commitment."
"Mm-hmm." One of the manicurists told me.
"Till death do us part." Another one of the manicurists told me.
"Exactly."
"I know forever is a long time to commit to. But I'm ready to do it with Jamie."
Later
"It's the day before our Wedding, and we're having the rehearsal at our Church, even though we're getting married at Whiteface Club and Resort. This will be the last time I see Jamie before we're at the altar,"
I was standing at the front of the Church with the Wedding planner, Vickie.
"Because we've decided to stay at separate places tonight."
"Okay. Are we ready?" Vickie questioned.
"Okay."
Lena and Donald walked down the aisle.
"Alright, your fathers are gonna be escorting you, right?"
"Yeah."
Sophia and Jude walked down the aisle.
"See how smooth?"
"Yes."
Emma walked down the aisle with Jesus.
