EDA SPREAD THE SCROLLS ONTO the table, unfurling them for the group to look at. She gestured with her arm to the paper, smiling proudly. "Well, there you have it. Homemade maps of every nook and cranny of the city." Eda says.
"Okay, here's the situation." Raine begins, leaning their arms down on the table. "Emperor Belos wants every witch in a coven before the Day of Unity."
"He's trying to steal as much magic as possible," Derwin says, leaning back against the wall. Eda and Atlantes turn their heads to him. "We don't know why."
"Right now, we're just focused on helping those he's captured," Raine says sternly, before pointing to three X's on the map. "And the next raids take place here, here, and here."
"At the same time? What do we do?" Katja says, furrowing her brows at the map.
Eda smirks, placing a hand on her chin. "Don't worry, kids. Mama's got a plan." She says.
"You're not our mom!" Amber exclaimed, squeezing her eyes shut.
"Okay, so," Eda leans close to the map. "As the first team is rounding up witches on Hexin Road, Amber will sneak in and take 'em out."
"Ugh, fine," Amber grumbled.
"Before anyone calls for help, Derwin and Katja will distract the second team by Skinford Avenue," Eda instructs, pointing to the road.
"That we can do," Derwin smirks, stepping up next to Katja.
"And the captain?" Amber asks.
"That's where Raine comes in. They'll take them out before that dumb captain even knew what hit 'em." Eda finishes, nodding firmly.
"As long as I don't have to make any more speeches." Raine smiles.
"And if everything goes well, Atlantes and I will be guiding the escapees outside Bonesbourough." Eda nods to Atlantes.
"Belos has less reach outside the city." Atlantes finishes, nodding.
"Well, let's get going," Raine smirks, grabbing their mask and heading out with the others.
The plan goes off without a hitch, and all the witches are safely escorted outside the city by the BATT's. They trudged back to their headquarters by dawn, ready to rest for a while.
