I wake up to our dorm room being slammed. I sit up in my bed and I see Harley. "Marinette where were you today?" Harley asks calmly with her back leaning on the door. "I told you I was eating off-campus to work on my sketch for your dress," I answer her. "Yeah, but you never came back." She says. "I lost track of time," I say and she walks a little closer to me.
"Did you know Felix was gone all day after lunch too? She asks me. "I didn't know till I got home and checked my messages where you text me," I say. "Okay, so you haven't seen him." She asks. "No, I haven't," I say. "Okay," she says pulling out her phone. She then shows me a video of Felix grabbing my hand and pulling me back to him. She also shows me a picture of us still holding hands walking down the street.
"You stalker," I say and she starts laughing. "Okay, I need to know everything. When? Where? How? Are you guys dating? I need answers. "Harley says sitting on my bed now. "Okay. Harley, Felix just asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and I said yes so we hung out. Then he dropped me off right back here. " I say and Harley starts squealing. "You guys are so cute," Harley says.
"No, we're not. We're not even dating." I say. "I don't care," Harley says walks over to her bed. "Did I miss anything?" I asked her. "No, not really but we did get permission slips for the Field trip that Jade told us about," Harley says pulling out a piece of paper. " I know your parents don't live here, so good news we have 3 weeks to turn it in," Harley says.
"Cool do you know where we are going?" I ask her slipping the permission slip into my backpack that was on the floor next to me. "I forgot," she says going into the bathroom to change. "Of course you did," I say.
Harley then comes out of the bathroom and puts her clothes away. "Come on let's go to dinner," Harley says putting her shoes back on. "Wait isn't dinner over?" I ask her. "No dinner is over at 8:00 it's 7: 29," Harley says checking her phone for the time. I so I didn't sleep for long. It was a nice quick little nap. "Okay," I said and put my shoes on we started heading to the cafeteria.
"There you guys are. We thought you guys died." Harrison says as we sit down at our table with our food in our hands. As I sit down my eyes catch Felix's and he has that stupid smirk back on his face. "Why does everyone think I'm dead," I say and they all laugh.
"So are you guys going on that field trip?" I ask and they tell me they are going. "Where are we going anyway?" Harley asks as we start eating our food. "Paris. The mayor invited our school to their Music day thingy or whatever it's called. That is so weird out of all the schools in London why would they pick just this one." Jade says and I swear Harley, Trevor, and Felix all looked at me when Jade said Paris. "Wait we are going to Paris for the annual Music Festival?" I ask. "Yeah, I just said that, why what's wrong?" Jade says. "Nothing I just think I'm going anymore," I say looking down at my food. "What! Why?" Jade asks. "I don't know I just don't want to," I say.
"Come on Marinette this school is trash at keeping track of the students when we go to places. That means we can sneak off into the city of Paris and no one would ever know." Harrison says jumping into the conversation. "I don't guys-" I start then I get cut off by Harley. "Come on Marinette, you can't run away from all your problems. And I'll be damned If I let you let a bunch of losers stop you from having the time of your life, living your best life with your new group of bestie., and Parting it up in Paris." Harley says. She's right but I'm not ready to face them. One day I'll be but not right now.
Felix then puts his hand on my hand and I look up into his green eyes. "Please M, come with us," he says in the most sweetest way ever. "Okay, I'll go." Whaat. I couldn't help but say yes. It's like he somehow compiled me with those gorgeous green eyes.
Everyone cheers around me but all I can think about was the way he touched me asks me to come with them. I fucking hate it here but I can't help but love it also.
After dinner, me and Harley went back to our room. We decided we wanted to watch another movie on the wall again. So right we are watching 'The Little Mermaid'. I loved this movie so much as a kid and even now I still love it.
