Kagome sat in the room she taken too. She was still in Azkaban, but in a different part. There was no dementors or even a speck of dirt. It was clean.

This was something Kagome wasn't used too. She knew she was filthy. She spent a lot of time in a dark and dirty cell. She did get to have a shower every so often...but not often enough where she looked nice.

So here she was in clean clothes and everything she was around was clean. She could actually say clean now too. That would be something to get used too. That and being able to use magic. In a short time she would be able to do magic.

These cuffs she had on her would be gone and she would never have to have them on again.

"You are finally getting out...little demon" a sneering voice grumbled as he entered the room. The prison guards eyes were dark in rage, a thick black cloak was worn over his robes.

Kagome just blinked, trying to make herself look innocent, which must have worked from the way he faulted as he walked closer to her.

He kept his face blank as he glanced her over, "You sure don't look like much for whose blood you have in you."

Kagome didn't say anything, just continued to stare the man down in the innocent way that had him so unnerved.

"...you do that well."

Kagome smiled as she watched the prison guard pull out his wand and moved it over the restraint bracelets on her wrist. A gold glow came from the end of his wand as he waved it over her one wrist then under the other and over. The infinity sign starting to appear in a gold light over her wrists till a loud 'crack' was heard in the room. The gold glow shrank in size till they were touching her skin and the restraints that were around her wrist turned to ash.

The gold glow stayed around her wrists until it sank into her skin. Kagome watched with wide eyes as a thin black tattoo was left around each wrist. Starting as inch thick strips around her wrists and then curving much like a snake fangs along the underside of her arms till they thinned out into sharp tips.

"What do the markings mean?" Kagome asked, hoping they weren't another type of restraint. She was sick of having limitations. She wanted her freedom.

The guard sneered at the young girl, "It shows all who look upon your wrists where it is you came from, and what you are. Just because you are leaving here doesn't mean anything. You are still of evil blood. Those markings will remind you of the blood that was spilt by your family...you are no better than your father."

Kagome glowered at the guard and made to reply when the sound of the door behind her opening caused her to return to the innocent child that she so often made to look like. Turning her eyes to the old man who'd not long ago paid her a visit, she gave a small smile, fake as it was.

"Are you ready to go my dear?" Dumbledore asked, as he walked into the room a cheerful smile on his face.

Kagome mentally sneered at this, she knew he wasn't happy on releasing her. He was going to use her in the war like a chess piece across the chessboard. But if she was to be a piece on his board, the Black Queen would be the piece she played.

Kagome nodded, "Yes." She gave him a small smile, as she stood up and made her way to his side.

The two walked in silence for a few minutes until they came to a guarded door. The guards nodded to Dumbledore and shot a glare at Kagome, which she had to hold back making a snarky comment and glaring back at them; this resulted in a smile back at before taking a deep breath and preparing herself for what lay outside the door.

She watched as the doors opened, a rush of adrenaline went through Kagome's veins as she looked at the opening doors.

Kagome put a hand over her eyes as she slowly walked out of the prison. The sun was shining down. A peaceful look came to her face as she felt the warmth of the sun for the first time in a long while.

'I'm finally free!'
