Hello there!
This, unfortunately, is not a new chapter. however, it is a promise that this fic isn't dead!
Part of my writing process is a lot - and I mean a lot - of research. Playing the games, reading up on video game history, learning new writing techniques, etc. I believe in continuity and canon over everything else, and I devote more time to perfecting those than I probably should. As such, I have edited and expanded all six previous chapters of this fic as I found new information. Chapter 1 in particular is significantly longer, and hopefully significantly better.
The upcoming Chapter 7 has delayed my work for quite some time now, and it's simply because I have very little experience writing high action sequences. Rest assured, though, that once I figure this out (and figure out how to work around the BotW2 trailers wrecking my original combat plans) it will have been well worth the wait.
