third person pov

natalia looked around the room she thought she'll never have to go inside of, but here she was standing by the door looking for the only guy she had to see. the only thing was, there was the sign of the guy who was also her husband, letting out a sigh she decided to wait for him

she had to ask him one single question that has been bothering her for a while now.

the room was cold, dark, hard, making shivers go up her spine, she never went in mattia's room until now, she took a seat on his bed patiently waiting for the guy to come back any time soon

but he didn't

natalia eyes were getting heavy, her eyes were slowly closing as she tried her best to stay up. and within seconds she was fallen asleep in his bed

the same bed no one had dared set or lay on

as for mattia, he was attending yet another meeting, his back straighten looking ahead at the person who struggled to even get a word out

"t-th" yet the word couldn't come out her mouth, the women who decided to not follow orders that were given struggled and begged to not be killed. as for her wishes, there was no doubt she wouldn't be kill right there and then

"why the fuck did you decide to go against my orders? fucking answer me" mattia yelled making the women in front of him flinch at his words

"sir.." a bodyguard interrupted, mattia looked at the guard who dared interrupt him "perhaps we should get your wife involve, after all, your wife did knew the young women" the guard said referring to the women who was in front of them, scared

mattia looked at the guard death in his eyes

"i agree sir, your wife could help us out wit-" another guard tried to say before mattia rudely cut him off

"no. for fuck sake how the fuck will she help us out??" mattia only yelled louder as everyone around him instantly stood silent "we won't have her involved in situations that doesn't have anything to do with her" mattia said, his voice lowering down

"yes sir" the guards quickly said

without any other word being said, mattia turned his head back to the women who cried.

"take her back to the car" mattia ordered his guards who immediately ran towards the women and grabbed her taking her downstairs of the warehouse and outside to the cars

"we need answers from her"

exhausted, tired and he still had something to deal with but he needed a quick warm showered to help him at least relax a little, something he also needed

mattia walked up the stairs of his house, ready to have a shower, he looked around the empty dark halls that had no sign of anyone. he narrowed his eyes waiting for the same greeting he always got from natalia when he came back home from work

mattia looked away from the hallway and to his room that was not as far, his eyes frowning once he saw his door slightly crack open

without thinking mattia started making his way to his room

he opened the door wide scanning the dark room, his eyes then landed on his bed, where she lay fallen asleep, her small light breathing were even barely to hear as she was still asleep

mattia didn't do anything but just stared

his eyes fixed on her

only one thing flew through his head, why was she even here??

but that thought was pushed away as he finally realized she lay on his bed, the bed where he never planned on sharing, the bed he let no one near

his thoughts were interrupted as someone behind him cleared their throat, mattia turned around to see the person

"we have to go back soon." alejandro said, alejandro looked from mattia to the bed

"i'll be there soon" mattia said avoiding the fact that natalia was still in the room fast asleep, alejandro chuckled nodding his head, even he knew, there was no way mattia couldn't care about her

"do you want me to send someone to take her back to her room??" alejandro asked after the silence

mattia furrowed his eyes at alejandro

"no, i'll do it" mattia said making alejandro grin but it quickly disappeared when mattia looked back at him, alejandro nodded walking out the room

mattia sigh as his head turned back to natalia

for a second, his eyes soften at the sight of her laying on his bed safe, comfortable, but his eyes instantly turned dark again, he wasn't gonna start loving her

he didn't plan to either

mattia walked up to his bed, he carefully grabbed natalia and placed her against his chest as he picked her up and carried her back to her room,
the whole way back, his eyes were on her as he noticed how she hold onto him like her life depended on it

and mattia hold her tighter but carefully to not wake her up from her sleep, he'll admit, she looked peaceful and beautiful in her sleep just as she did awoken

slowly and calmly natalia turned around to a better position in his arms, her head was now against mattia's chest leaning on it as he looked down at her again

she was safe in his arms and although she wasn't able to feel his presences

she knew it
