I sat on Elevens bed with her and Mike and they casually made out stoping sometimes to talk about random things with me. After a few hours Will came over and told me how bad talking to Suzie went telling me it didn't work.
Music blasted in my shared room as me and Will danced and kissed randomly at times. I kissed him and he kissed me back as I heard a knock on the door. I pulled away from Will and looked at the door.
"Hey!" Hopper yelled from the other side of the door but not in a angry manner
"Yes?" Me and El said in sync as I sat on my bed with Will sitting across from me
"Can I talk to you guys for a minute?" Hops asked as El opened the door with her mind and the song continued to play
Hopper walked in and we stared at him like the angels we are. I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and looked at Hops as he stared at us all.
"Hi" he said as we all looked at him confused
"Hi." We all said in sync looking at him confused on why he knocked
He walked more in the room and sat on my bed so me and Will scooted up and stared at him as he stared at all of us before turning to me and Els vanity and turning off the music.
"Um.." he said trailing off as he touched his beard "what I, uh... needed to say to you... what I wanted to say to you... is that, um..." he said before my best friend in interrupted him
"Uh-oh" Mike said making me crack a smile "I think we're all in trouble."he said before we all started laughing and hops stared at us with disbelief
"No. No,nobody's in trouble, okay? I just, um.." Jim said before Mike reached over and whispered something in Els ear and she stood and did the same to me making me laugh as I whispered it in Wills ear making him laugh
"Uh.." Jim said staring at us in shock at the way we were all acting "you know what your mom called Mike." He said as Mikes face scrunched up
"What?" Mike said before hopper started nodding
"Yeah. She needs you home right away. You and Will." Hopper said
"Is everything okay?" Will asked confused
"No I don't think so" hops said "it's Mikes grandma." Hopper said making mikes eyes widen before him Will and Mike left the room with Hops
"I hope his nana is okay" I said as El nodded
"Yeah we will see them tomorrow though" she said as I nodded and we both fell back on our beds
The next morning I sat on my bed brushing my hair as I waited for my boyfriend to get here. He was taking longer than usual which made me annoyed I stood up and walked outside on the porch where I saw el.
"Where the hell are they?" I asked as I sighed
"Uh I'll just call him you radio Will" she groaned loudly as she opened the door and we both walked inside
"Hey.everything okay?" Are dad hopper said while Eleven called Mike and I went in our room to radio Will
"Yes" we both said in sync as I turned to Wills channel
"Will" I said holding the bottom of it as I laid on my stomach "where are you?" I asked with a sigh
"Hey uh Tessa" Will said answering as I sighed in relief with a smile
"It's 9:32 where are you?" Me and Eleven said in sync as she came in the room with the phone closing the door
"Uhh sorry the-" he said before I heard static
"Will?" I asked
"The connection is bad" Will said "but I was about to call I um can't see you today" he said
"What- why not?" I asked taken back
"It's Mikes nana you know I'm close to his family.. she has cancer." Will said as my eyes widened
"Oh but Hops said that Mikes nana was okay, that it was a false alarm" I said confused
"Yeah that's what we thought at first then she took a turn for the worst and got diagnosed with cancer" Will said
"Oh" I sighed out before hearing Joyce
"Mikes grandma has cancer?" Joyce asked through the radio
"Mom get out of my room please" Will said as the radio went silent for a second "sorry uh we think she might die from the uh cancer"
"What!" Joyce said as I heard his door open
"Mom stop listening to my conversations!" Will yelled
"She's going to die?" Joyce asked
"No no just get out I'll explain later" Will said before I heard his door close
"Was that Joyce?" I asked before he sighed
"Yeah uh I gotta meet Uh Mike at the um hospital I mean nursing home" Will said
"Oh okay can you come after?" I asked
"No! I mean no I'm sorry I'm gonna be really sad and I have to be there for Mike" Will reasoned as I scrunched my eyebrows at nothing making sense
"Are you lying?" I asked as he quickly answered
"What no I'm not lying...friends don't lie remember?! but Ill talk to you later alright miss you okay bye" he said before the line went dead only hearing static I dropped the supercomm as El moved the phone from her ear
I walked out of the room sadly as Eleven put the phone back and I sighed.
"Hey.what's going on?" Hopper asked us as El ignored him and went back in our room slamming the door
"Ima just go outside to let some steam off" I said as I opened the door and walked out slamming it little did I know Hopper had the biggest smile on his face
I walked towards a tree staring at it as it set into flames. I felt bad for killing the tree but I was angry.
"Stupid!" I yelled as I cocked my head having the tree fall in a instant and the flames went out and I sighed good thing it was the neighbors
I walked back inside and went straight into my shared room slammed the door. I fell onto my bed and screamed in my pillow kicking my legs like a child having a tantrum.
"Let's go to Maxines" I heard Eleven say as I lifted my head "Max our friend" she said as I nodded and got up
