We walked up to Max's house and saw her skateboarding. When the skateboard rolled to us El grabbed it. We walked over to Max and El handed it to her.
"Hi" we both said in sync while Max looked confused as to why we were there
"Hi?" Max said confused
"Can we talk?" Jane my sister asked as I sighed and nodded
"Please?" I asked —
"And then he said he-he missed me. And then he just hung up" Eleven said
"Will said he missed me to and then he hung up" I said shrugging
"They're a piece of shit." Max said as my eyes widened
"What?" both said in sync confused
"Mike and Will don't have jack shit to do today and his Nana obviously isn't sick. I guarantee you both. Them and Lucas are playing Atari right now." Max said as I sighed
"But friends don't lie." El said as I nodded
"Yeah, well, boyfriends lie. All the time." Max said as she sat on the bed in front of us "You're going to stop calling them. You're going to ignore their calls. As far as your both concerned they don't exist." Max said as I scrunched my eyebrows
"Don't exist?" I asked in disbelief I didn't want Will to not exist
"They treated you both like garbage. You're gonna treat him like garbage. Give him a taste of his own medicine." Max said
"Give him the medicine" El said as I moved hair out of my face
"Mm-hmm. And if he doesn't fix this, if he doesn't explain himself, dump his ass" Max said as both of our eyes went wide "come on" Max said grabbing our hands
"Where are we going?" I asked as she pulled me up from the bed
"-to have some fun." The redhead said "There's more to life than stupid boys, you know." Max said
We got off the bus and was faced with a big building that read starcourt Mall.
"So what do you think?" Max asked with a grin as I smiled back nervously "hey, what's wrong?" Max asked because of the faces we were making
"Too many people." Eleven said as I nodded I mean I've been to a mall before but ever since I moved in with Hops he said no mall to many people
"It's too big.." I sighed as I looked around "against the rules." I said
"Seriously? You both have superpowers. What's the worst that could happen?" Max asked as my smile turned into a real smile and I nodded
Max pulled us through the mall and it was more colorful then any other mall I have been to last year. I spun around and took in all the colors of this huge mall.
