bloody sky eyes

i followed her home

i watched as you kissed her lips before she went away

from a distance i couldn't help but think it was me kissing you.

but oh well

soon it wouldn't be her

or anyone

because of what i was about to do.

i stood behind her garden

and watched her go inside her home

no one was home

how lovely.

i went inside after her

and held my pocket

the pocket that held the knife

that i would kill her with.

i walked behind heather slowly

she put down her bag on the table in the kitchen

she had such a pretty kitchen

but then i striked
i put my hands around her neck

and started squeezing.

i pushed her to the floor with my knees
and got on top of her.

i squeezed

harder

and harder

i watched as she started to lose her color.

then i stopped

i wanted her to feel how i felt
how my eyes felt so dirty,

watching her steal you away from me.

so then i went for her eyes.

she tried to crawl away from me

but i couldn't let that happen.

i pulled her to the floor by her hair,
and dragged her to her living room.

she screamed for her life

but i didn't let that stop me.

i hit her head on the coffee table in the living room

she started bleeding

i went over her bleeding body,
and put my fingers in her eyes

taking out her eyes

one

by one

i put her blue eyes on the floor next to me

i would save them for later

she screamed in pain

a scream i adored

i smiled as she bled from her empty eye sockets

she went limp on the floor

but i wasn't done yet
