(y/n) POV:

I suddenly heard a knock on my door. It can't be..
I got up and wiped my eyes, which were glossy from crying. My bare feet touched the cold, wooden floor, as I opened the front door. There he was.
Saiki.

He immediately came inside and hugged me. Then came the tears, soaking his uniform. I didn't care how or why he was here. I just wanted him.
His hug was warm and gentle, and I returned it.
"You didn't do anything did you?" he asked. His voiced rang in my head, like he was inside of it. He pulled back, hands on my shoulder.

"No, I couldn't.." I muttered, barely getting a word out. "I'm so fucking hideous, why on earth would you want to see me?" I asked. His eyes widened.
"I-"
"wait how the fuck did you even get here?"
He sighed, "Can you let me explain?" he said sarcastically.
"Right sorry."

And that's when he told me about his psychic powers. And how I was not to tell anyone or he would murder me. Nice.

"So I did see you teleport!" I laughed, pointing at him. He rolled his eyes and chuckled.
We sat in silence, I glared at him and he seemed lost in his thoughts.

"You're not hideous." He said, locking eyes with me. My cheeks flared up, I turned my head to hide it.

"You're-"
"I'm not lying." he interrupted me.
"In fact," he bit his lip, a hint of pink blush dusted his cheeks. "You're the prettiest person I've laid my eyes on."
I gasped. "Wait, you said you can't see people?"
He grabbed my hand, finger on top of my ring.
"This metal stops me from using my x-ray and mind reading on you." he explained.
"Oh.." I said. "Thank you,"
He smirked, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"You really are as average as your cousin." he said.
I scoffed. "How rude!" rolling my eyes.
"Tsk. You do realise that I am obsessed with normal looking people? Why do you think I stalked your cousin?" he explained
"When you say it like that you sound like a psychopath." I laughed.
"Everyone I meet at PK is so strange.." Saiki mumbled.
"Hey, at least I'll be there!" I cheered. His eyes lit up, as he just remembered.
"Oh thank god, I can see you again." he smiled.
"So, you're not going to teleport back?" I asked, "you already made me happy. I've literally forgotten why I was sad."
"Teleporting tires me out, can't I just relax for a bit?" Saiki said, leaning down on my couch.
"Make yourself at home why don't you?" I teased.

Saiki had just left, and I was packing for the trip to Japan. He had helped me decide what clothes to wear, which was nice. And I still got that hug from him like he promised, so today had its ups and downs!
