Chapter 21

Melany's pov

One glass door, that's the only thing separating my best friend from her soulmate, my boyfriend from his best friend and me from my 'big brother.'

It has been 8 hours since we said our goodbye's to Paris. 

The past week has been a journey on it's own, our small trip has almost cost me my relationship but ended up making our bond stronger. 

We stepped onto the plane, seated next to each other and time basically flew by. Blake and Allison slept through the whole flight and I occupied myself with the books Blake bought me. 

We landed, grabbed our luggage and walked towards the exit of the airport, as we walked through the glass door my eyes fell on the one person my best friend's heart belongs to.

Impatiently rubbing his hands against each other, he hasn't seen us yet and Allison hasn't seen him yet but when I looked behind me I saw Blake's eyes spark with joy when they took in the sight of his best mate.  

The smile on his face only adding to the joy growing inside me.

Seeing Reggy was the biggest relief I have ever felt in my life. Even though I enjoyed our trip, the thought of Reggy collapsing to the ground as his heart gave out kept circling in the back of my mind and it kept me worried. 

Allison squealed beside me and before I knew it she ran towards Reggy who just laid eyes on her and opened his arms wide open for her to run into, she jumped in his embrace and he locked her in by wrapping his arms around her tightly. 

Blake and I walked up to the reunited couple and started loading in our luggage in the trunk.

I looked to my side as I picked up my last suitcase and put it in the trunk and saw Blake looking at the two of them, "go, I got this" I said knowing he missed him more than any of us. 

"I'll let them have their moment" he shrugged and lifted Allison's suitcase. 

I looked at them and watched as they talked, "babe, just go he missed you as much as you missed him," I watched him closely and for the first time I saw his eyes glaze over "go hug him."

He closed the trunk and looked at me, "I love you" he smiled weakly.

I grabbed his hand and squeezed it, "I love you too."

He looked over my shoulder and walked towards Reggy, I walked after him and watched their interaction. 

Reggy wiped away Allison's tears before he looked up at Blake, "my man" he smiled before he pulled him towards him, they hugged one another and I'm sure everyone could feel the emotion that radiated between them. 

"You sure did keep your promise" Blake laughed as he patted Reggy on his back. 

"Don't I always," Reggy smiled "you're not getting rid of me just yet, big guy."

They pulled out of the hug and Reggy squeezed Blake's shoulder, "and you" he said before his eyes landed on me "you did a great job at babysitting."

"I did, but they sure ass hell were a pain in the ass."

"Oh I believe that" he laughed slightly as he ran a hand over my head and gave me a quick hug. 

"Now let's get you guys home" he announced. 

Allison and I got in the backseat and Blake slid in the passengers seat as Reggy started the car. 

"So is anyone going to fill me in on the amount of guys that hit on my girl?"
