I turned my alarm clock off and got dressed.
It's going to be my first official day on the job, I'm so excited!

Still somewhat tired, I walked out of my room and--
AAA! I ALMOST FORGOT!

Apollo was snuggled on my couch, sleeping peacefully.
D-Damn it... I have to wake him up somehow without making an embarrassment out of myself...

...ugh, who am I kidding. Of course I'll embarrasse myself in front of him.

I decided to first find his suit.
It was dry already, but it was a little wrinkled.
I decided to iron it and fold it first.

I bit my lip as I stepped closer to him.
S-So cute...
F-Focus, Y/N!

"Um, A-Apollo..."
I said softly. It's not working.

Ughhhhhh what to do??

I slightly shaked him.
Not working...

D-Dang it...
I put my fingers in his messy hair, gently stroking it.
"A-Apollo, it's time t-to wake up..."

His eyes slowly flattered open.
"H-Hmm?"
Then he realized he was in a different place, and set up.
"O-Oh! Morning, Y/N."
He was a little embarrassed.
I felt that I was blushing.

"U-Um... c-clothes... w-work... o-out in ten m-minutes..."
I couldn't put together a normal sentence, but it seemed like he understood, taking the folded suit from my hands.

I finished preparing, wearing a suit with suspenders and my badge.
Apollo got out of the bathroom, ready to go.

"It's really warm..."
He snuggled into himself.

"Y-Y-Yea, I, uh, ironed it..."
I stuttered.

"I can't thank you enough, Y/N."
He scratched the back of his head.

"I-It's fine, really!
N-Now, let's get some b-breakfast on our w-way.
T-There's a really good c-coffee shop h-here..."
I mumbled, and Apollo nodded.

We got to the now dry street and into the coffee shop.
We each bought a coffee and a freshly baked muffin and set down to eat.

"Woah, I should come here more often!"
Apollo was amazed.

"Y-Yea, I really l-love it here..."

Apollo and I were on our way to the office.

"Um, y-you tie i-is loose..."
I suddenly noticed.

Apollo looked at himself, a little embarrassed and disappointed.
"That's a shame. I'll have to search up a tutorial. I don't really know how to tie ties..."
He admitted.

"I-I know how..."
I said quietly.

"You do? Could you please help me?"

I made an agreement sound, and my hands reached the tie.
I struggled to keep my composure. My heart was almost beating out of my chest.

"H-Here!"
I squeaked, fixing the tie inside his vest.

"Thanks, Y/N!"

"W-Well, you know me... I specialize in tie-tying and do law on the side, as a hobby."
I joked, and Apollo laughed his cutest laugh yet.

"You know, Y/N, yesterday Phoenix said that I should be the one who'll mentor you. I just can't wait to spend more time with you. You are so fun!"

"R-Really...?"
I asked in disbelief, my stomach filled with butterflies.

Apollo nodded, reassuring me.

I looked away, blushing, as we reached the office.

We knocked on the door and Phoenix opened.

"Just in time!"
Trucy exclaimed from the inside.

"I was quite worried about you two.
Apparently it was flooded yesterday."
Nick admitted. He probably heard it on the radio.

"Yea, I spent the night at Y/N's because I couldn't have possibly reached my house in time."
Apollo let him know.

"It's great to see you two bonding.
Welp, do whatever you like and I'll let you know if you have a client."
Phoenix said.

We both nodded.

"Y/N, Y/N! Come see me doing some magic tricks!"
Trucy ran at me.

"Gladly! Will you join us, Apollo?"

"Give me twenty minutes, I'll go prepare my chords of steel first."
Apollo said, leaving to another room.

"I wonder... What does it mean...?"
I scratched my chin.

"It means that we'll hear Polly screaming for twenty minutes to warm his voice for his 'objection's."
Trucy sighed.
So it's a normal, everybody thing.

"How about you kids take a walk? There's a festival launching ten minutes from here."
Phoenix proposed.

"Ooooh!!! Let's go!"
Trucy jumped in excitement.

Apollo sighed in relief.
He was just saved from being a victim of Trucy's tricks.

"W-Wait, where is my badge?!"
I suddenly panicked.

"Ask my magic panties!
Ta-Da!"
Trucy handed me my badge.

"You are an awesome magician, Trucy."

"Thanks!"
She smiled wildly, taking my hand and Apollo's hand, standing between us.

"Careful, people might mistake those two to your parents."
Phoenix chuckled.

I froze, red like a tomato.

"B-BOSS!"
Apollo blushed.

"I'm just kidding!
...or am I...?
You can't blame me, you two look good together."

"Stop it, daddy!
You are overwhelming them!"
Trucy shot an angry look at him.

"Alright, alright, sorry.
Run along, kids. Have fun."
Phoenix laughed to himself.

"A-AGAIN, T-TRUCY! IT'S JUST A SAYING---!!!"
I exclaimed as she started running, dragging us two.
