Sorry for the last update lovelies. Here's the real one~
It's been a month.
Irene spent her whole attention to her daughter while also trying to move on, but this time... She's already moving on. For real. Not like before when Lisa died that she's still always thinking about her, dreaming about her, wishing for her to be here. She's doing good, to be honest.
The girls also went back to their usual lives and did what Irene is doing. They're trying their best to accept the fact that Lisa's gone and move forward.
Jisoo stayed with Irene, the twins love there though, especially they get to play with Mavis.
But... There's something so different now...
*Ding dong~*
"Mavis! Don't run!" Irene shouted because she can hear her daughter's laughter the moment the doorbell rang and just by that, she already know that Mavis is running to get to the door.
"She knows he's here," Jisoo said then chuckle.
"Yeah," Irene said as she wipes her hands and walks to the door.
Just as expected, Mavis is already giggling in the arms of the person at the door.
"Hey, come in," Irene said as she approaches them.
"No thanks, I'm on patrol and just dropped by to give you this," he said as he handed Irene the paper bag he's holding.
"Thank you, Bogum." Irene smiled at him and check what's inside the paper bag. It's chicken skewer.
"How about me? How about me?" Mavis asked while wiggling on his arms.
Bogum smiled and poke her nose. "Of course, how would I forget about you?"
Mavis giggles as she watches him take something from his back pocket. Irene's hoping that it's not sweets again because whenever Bogum is here, he's giving Mavis chocolates or candies.
"Tada!"
Irene sigh. Why did she even hope for it to be healthy food?
Mavis squeals and take the lollipop from him before hugging his neck. "Thank you uncle Bogum!"
"Come here, you sweet spoiled kid," Irene takes her daughter from him. "You shouldn't bother yourself, you know?" She said to the good-looking police officer in front of her.
Bogum's the one who helped them get Mavis from CL before if you're asking.
How did they end up this close? They're always meeting in an unpredictable scene. They met multiple times in parks, groceries, or malls, and now, Bogum's always stopping by to visit them.
"It's fine, I'm glad to see you and Mavis," Bogum said while smiling.
"You sure you don't want to come in and eat? It's almost lunch,"
"I'll be happy to join you but I'm still on duty." He said just as his radio beeped and they heard a voice asking for him. "That's my call, see you when I see you." He said and walk away.
Mavis waves her little hand to his retreating form while Irene just smiles at her daughter's cuteness before closing the door and walking towards the kitchen.
She put Mavis down on the counter then get a plate to place the chicken skewer.
"It's him?" Jisoo asked while chopping vegetables.
"Obviously," Irene said then put on her apron. "You go play with the twins and behave, okay?" She told her daughter as she put her down.
"He loves Mavis," Jisoo said nonchalantly as she watches Irene start to put the prepared ingredients on the pan. "And he seemed to like you,"
