Andrew's POV

Today was the day of Christina's and I's baby shower. Kam and her decided to celebrate together. I was good with whatever Christina wanted.

I got Anthony dressed and then we headed to pick up Christina. The baby shower was at a venue across town, I had my people set it up so all we had to do was show up.

I helped her into the car before we headed to the event. When we stepped inside I looked around nodding approvingly at the green decor.

"It's beautiful, oh my gosh" Christina said next me. I smiled because I wanted this to be special for her.

"Awww shiiit" Brianna shouted as she entered the building looking around.

"Ahh, hey girl" Christina shrieked going to hug Brianna. I seen B Mack walk in behind her with their two kids.

"Hey man, thanks for coming."

"Of course man" he said as we dapped each other up. Anthony was hiding behind my leg as he looked at the little girl that walked in with B Mack.

"Say hi" I placed an encouraging hand on his head. He waved.

"Aw he's so sweet" Briann said coming to give me a hug.

More guest started arriving and we made sure to say hello to everyone. "Parties here" Tone said as he walked in with X, X's wife, and X's daughter.

I shook my head as I walked towards them. "Hey"

"What's up"

"How was the flight?" I asked X and his family. They had flew in from the east coast and I was grateful.

"It was good man"

"How's my niece?" I asked Zenia

"Uncle dru you have to save me. I hate it over there."

"I know I've been trying to convince your dad but he can be hard headed. I think it's cause his head so big the doctors had to make his skull thicker." She laughed causing me to laugh

The party was in full swing by now. Party games were being played and music blasted as guest enjoyed the food and drinks.

I stood outside with X and Ralphy as we talked about what we always talked about. Basketball.

"Ralphy your team got a good chance this year with that rookie y'all just recruited" X stated

"Yea Howard is a beast" I added

"Yea but will see how he handles the pros." X added

"Facts" Ralphy commented

"Yo, yo, yo, who's ready to party?" Tone said as he walked up with B Mack. "Look what I got?" Tone pulled out a fifth from his coat.

"Is you crazy?" Ralphy asked

"I'm wit it" X said grabbing the bottle and opening it. We just all stared at him probably wondering who the fuck was this guy.

"Aht, I brought the bottle." Tone said taking the bottle downing a huge swig.

X grabbed it back taking two big gulps of his own. Ralphy was next and then me. B Mack said he was good and we all understood as he just had another baby.

"Ok it's time for the diaper game. We need all the men over here" our heads shot up as we looked around seeing Brianna motioning for us we went back inside.

"It's time for the diaper changing game. We know you guys all have a lot of practice but this is a test to see who does it the fastest." Kam said

"I'm winning this easy." Ralphy said

"I got the most practice" B Mack added

"It don't matter we all know I'm a winner" we all looked at Tone not saying anything cause we knew his ass was going to loose.

"On your mark...get set... go" Christina said

"I'm done" I held up my baby first smiling ear to ear. B Mack was next, then Ralphy. We all laughed as he freaking put the diaper on the babies head.

"What?" He asked

"On the babies head really? Remind me to never leave you alone with my kids again" Kam said shaking her head

"That's the head" I laughed patting him on the back.

"What? I thought the baby had no leg."

"It's ok. We can't all be winners" I said smugly

"Yo shit not even on the right way." Tone stated.

"Ha"B Mack laughed

I looked at my baby realizing I had put the diaper on inside out. How, I don't know. I laughed at my self.

"B Mack is clearly the winner, the rest of you, I expected more." Kam said

Christina's POV

The party was winding down and the girls and I were talking.

"How are feeling for real? You ain't gotta sugar coat shit, we just want to support you anyway we can." Brianna said looking at me.

I assumed she was talking about being a single mom. Even though Dru would help out I knew for the most part I'd be on my own. Dru had basketball and Anthony, I didn't expect him to be around all the time but I knew if we needed anything he would make sure we were good.

"Honestly, I'm scared." They nodded understandingly as I continued. "I want to do whatever is best for my child. I want to make sure they feel loved and taken cared for, something I never got with my mother. I want my child to know their father because I know how important that is. How strong the bond could be. But I'm scared I won't know how to be a mother." I felt the tears that escaped my eyes as I talked.

"Babe, you'll be such a great mom. You know how I know?" Kam asked me putting a comforting hand on my leg.

"How?" I whispered trying to keep myself from full blown crying.

"Because you already are one to that sweet boy who loves you so much and because you're an amazing friend. Any one would be lucky to call you their mom." I smiled at her words.

The party was over and Dru drove me home. We talked about how well the baby shower went laughing about some of the events that took place.

"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself." He told me as he parked the car in front of my house.

"It was so sweet, thank you" I reached over as much as I could as I grabbed his head kissing him on the cheek. We pulled away slowly our lips inches from each other's. I closed my eyes, and I could feel his breath getting closer before our lips lightly grazed each other's.

His phone rang and I jumped back. Geez that scared the shit out of me. I took deep breaths to control my erratic heartbeat. I moved to open the door feeling like there wasn't enough oxygen. I felt an arm go across my body halting me from getting out. It was Andy, he wasn't looking at me as he talked on the phone. A minute passed and he moved his arm ending the call. I watched as he got out the car walking to my side. He helped me out and then pushed me up against his car. He was swift and gentle. I bit my lip suppressing the gasp that threatened to come out of my mouth. His quick actions and the tension in the car had a pool building in my panties.

He stared at me for a while his eyes fixed on my lips. He looked back in my eyes as if asking for permission. I pulled him closer to me leaning forward before my phone rang.

I leaned back sighing while Andy groaned. I fished it out seeing Lances name pop up. A tinge of guilt ripped through me. Lance was supposed to meet me here after the baby shower cause I didn't think it was a good idea to invite him to the actual one.

"I got to go but I'll see you Wednesday" he nodded as I left our embrace heading to my front door. I opened the door not daring to look back. I closed it leaning on it as I breathed.

Why did my life feel like a soap opera?
