Andrew's POV
I was sweating profusely as I ran full speed down the court. I had one defender in front of me. I hit a quick euro step before ending with a right handed lay-up.
"Woo" I breathed, we had just scrimmaged to end practice.
"Others teams better look out for you." Lebron said patting me on the back.
"No doubt." I said as I stood straight up. "Aye who do you think our biggest challenge will be this year? I'm thinking either the bucks, or the bulls. The bulls stand a good chance now that they have Lonzo."
"True true but honestly we need to get past the clippers if we want to play against either of those teams come playoffs. They saying big things about that rookie, he's coming in hot."
"Don't forget about they center, heard that guy was a beast."
Lebron laughed, "That nigga is soft, get atta here with that."
I laughed as I packed up my stuff."Aight man, I'll catch you." I said before leaving the gym.
I parked in Christina's drive way. I was on the phone for a while with my manager. He had told me about a few interviews as well as a photo shoot I had coming up. After the phone call I sat scrolling through social media before I finally got out the car.
I was exhausted and I couldn't wait to take a shower.
"Daddy" I heard as I opened the door. I smiled seeing Ant running towards me.
"Hey little man, whatchu been up too?"
"I played with Boo allllll daaayy"
"Yea, you have fun?"
"Yup." He nodded, "daddy am I the best big brother?"
"You are, can you keep watching your sister while I go take a shower?" I asked setting him down.
"Don't wowwy, I got tis." He said before running off.
After doing what I needed to do I came back downstairs. I loved that I got to come home to my family, I was smiling as I walked into the kitchen where I found Anthony eating. I watched Christina try and clean up the kitchen while she was also breast feeding.
"Man, watch out" I told her as I began to clean.
"Woo, thank you" she said before sitting down.
"You ain't got to thank me." I said as I began to do the dishes.
"You're not going anywhere tonight, right?"
I looked over my shoulder at her, "nah." I planned to spend the rest of my night with my favorite people.
"Um, ok. Well I have a d-a-t-e tonight. So I won't be home." I nodded focusing my attention on the dishes. I didn't have anything to say. A lot of emotions were running through my head, hurt and anger.
"Shit" I cursed as one of the dishes broke slicing a bit of one of my fingers.
"Oh my goodness, are you ok?" Chris asked peering next to me.
I took a deep breath before opening my eyes again. "I'm fine, don't worry about it."
"Let me just-"
"I'm telling you I'm good." I turned off the water before I headed up stairs to clean the cut.

A few days later
Christina's POV
"Thank you guys so much for helping me set up." I said to my friends who had come into the studio to help set up for my grand opening.
"It's no problem, you know we got you" Ralphy said
"I know and because of that I think it's only right to celebrate a little early." I stated grabbing a bottle of apple cider I had.
"No, you didn't" Brit said as she stared at the non alcoholic drink.
Brit was a college friend who had been stuck in a very toxic relationship since graduating from college. Recently she had broken up with said boyfriend and since then she's been able to reconnect with friends and family.
"What?" I pouted. I liked apple cider
"Seriously, where's the alcohol?" She asked looking through the mini fridge I had.
"I didn't get any, I thought apple cider would be nice for everyone to enjoy."
"It is. Don't listen to her." Kam said
"I've literally been through hell and back. I need a drink or five."
I poured our glasses, "A toast to success and friendships" I said holding up my glass. We clinked them before taking a sip.
"Wait, I have the best idea." Brit said excitedly. "Why don't we go out to celebrate? Oh come on it'll be fun."
"We ain't been out together in a minute." Ralphy said lowly to Kam.
"Fine, let's do it." I said giving in.
Tonight could be fun. I haven't been out in a while and I deserve this.
The door chimed signally someone walked in. We all looked, I smiled when I saw him walking in with flowers. "Are these for me?" I asked walking up to Lance.
"Yup, congrats on the studio. I'm proud of you." He said pulling me in to a hug.
"Thank you" I replied
"What's up Rookie?" Ralphy said as they dabbed each other up.
"Aye man, what's up"
I was nervous as hell as I stood there watching him interact with my friends. I hadn't told anyone Lance was Ralphy's teammate. It felt too messy. I already had so many reservations about our relationship that I kept most of it to myself.
"Hey Lance, nice to see you again."
"Always a pleasure. Anyone who can put up with with him" he gestured to Ralphy, "is my hero"
"This-"I was interrupted
"I'm Brit"
"Lance"
"Say Lance, we are going out tonight to celebrate. You should come."
He nodded his head, "I'll be there."
"Good" she said before walking away.

We were in our sections dancing and drinking. Brit was not playing when she said she was tryna have a good time. I was about four shots in. Not drunk but I had a nice buzz going.
"Time for another shot" Brit shouted over the music that was blaring. She must of seen the look on my face because next she shouted, "we're celebrating" and that's all it took for me to grab a shot.
I took the shot feeling the familiar burn down my throat. It wasn't as bad as the first one but still nasty as hell. "Let's dance" I said to Lance dragging him to the dance floor. I spotted Kam and Ralphy.
When we got to a good spot I began to dance. I was feeling the alcohol as I began to whined my hips. I felt Lance behind me as I continued to whined and grind.
Suddenly, I felt a sense of deja vu. I could feel someone's eyes on me. It was Andy as he stood across the dance floor his brown eyes watching me intently.
