Christina's POV

I knocked on Lance's door waiting for him to open the door. I was nervous as hell but knew what needed to be done.

I didn't love him. I couldn't love him. Not when I'm already in love with someone else.

I felt bad. I didn't mean to lead him on but here I was about to break up with him. After he had confessed his feelings for me. After I had told him I had moved on.

The door opened revealing Lance. "Hey," he leaned in for a kiss. I hesitated moving my face.

"Hey" I responded awkwardly.

He just looked at me. "You going back to that nigga?" He chuckled bitterly.

"Lance it's not like that. He's-"

"You know what. Do what you gotta do. I'll be here when that nigga fucks up and he will." He opened the door for me.

"I really am sorry." I said before leaving out.

1 month later

I had just got back from my studio. I was currently on a FaceTime call with Trey. "Come dance for me? Please?" He had asked again for the second time.

I sighed, "let me think about it."

"Of course of course. I'll hit you later" we ended the call. I stood in the foyer, taking my shoes off.

The house was weirdly quiet. I walked around looking for my flowers when I heard Papa. I went towards my backyard seeing the kids jumping in the pool. Andy sat on one of the lounge chairs. He looked to be napping. I also saw Mrs. and Mr. Barnes. As Mr. Barnes was on the grill.

"Hey" I said to Mr. Barnes giving him a hug.

"Hey daughter," he greeted me. I waved towards everyone in the pool. Mrs. Barnes was in the water with Bria. Olivia and Ant were practically grown with their little floaties, and Isaiah was shooting around in the pool. I shook my head, he was just like his brother.

"Hi my sweet girl" I cooed at Bria who paid me no mind as she interacted with the water.

I walked over to Andy next. He must of been sleep because he had not moved since I got outside.

I sat down next to him before I peppered his lips with kisses. Once I felt him kiss me back I leaned back. "Rise and shine, handsome."

"Baby, come take a nap with me." He attempted to pull me towards him.

"Wait," I smiled. "Let me change first." He nodded.

"Hurry up so I can rub on you."

"Absolutely not, there's children and your parents." I tried scolding him.

"They know what's up" I shook my head getting up to go change.

After I took a quick rinse off I called Kam. "Hey boo" she answered.

"Hey, what are you doing?" I asked as I looked for a bathing suit. I found a cute black little one piece.

"Feeding this child. Where are you?" She asked probably because I wasn't in the screen.

"Everybody's at my house. Mr. Barnes is Bbqing."

"Ooh Mr. B is cooking." I heard Ralphy

"Stay out of grown folks business" Kam replied

Those two were something else. "Yea we all chilling at the pool right now."

"Mrs. B over there? We'll be there in seven minutes maybe fo " Ralphy said hanging up the phone.
